Hmmm... I'd say it's a strange decision to make the (actually hungarian) huszárs the uu of Austria. Especially since hungarian huszárs can be traced back to Corvinus, so nothing austrian. Not even the name really matches: k.u.k. is 'kaiserlich und königlich' which is 'imperial and royal'. That actually refers to Austria-Hungary, not just Austria. Not to mention that hungarians identify themselves pretty much with Huszárs... All in all, that would have been nice for an Austro-Hungarian civ that gain would be nice as part of a scenario. At least, the huszár unit found some use - I guess you used my optimized version? Also, the button is nice, I might think about using it instead of the one I have for my Hungary civ.
The rest of your work is pretty good, too! So, basically, good job!

Is the Libyan Pedia Challenge still on?

I will dazzle you with my Khorosan Pedia entry..... :D

EDIT:
Question, are you simply turning the CotW Berbers into a module?

EDIT2:
Greater Khorosan is a historical region spanning northeastern Iran, northern Afghanistan, and the southern parts of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. The Khorosan Empire is actually a combination of the Sassanid and Parthian Empires.

The Parthian Empire (247 BC – 224 AD), also known as the Arsacid Empire after the eponymous founder, was a major Iranian political and cultural power in ancient Persia. It was founded in the mid-3rd century BC by Arsaces I of Parthia, leader of the Parni tribe, when he conquered the Parthia region in Iran's northeast, then a satrapy (province) in rebellion against the Seleucid Empire. Mithridates I of Parthia (r. c. 171–138 BC) greatly expanded the empire by seizing Media and Mesopotamia from the Seleucids. At its height, the Parthian Empire stretched from the northern reaches of the Euphrates, in what is now south-eastern Turkey, to eastern Iran. The empire, located on the Silk Road trade route between the Roman Empire in the Mediterranean Basin and the Han Dynasty in China, quickly became a center of trade and commerce.
The Parthians largely adopted the art, architecture, religious beliefs, and royal insignia of their culturally heterogeneous empire, which encompassed Persian, Hellenistic, and regional cultures. For about the first half of its existence, the Arsacid court adopted elements of Greek culture, though it eventually saw a gradual revival of Iranian traditions. The Arsacid rulers were titled the "King of Kings", as a claim to be the heirs to the Achaemenid Empire; indeed, they accepted many local kings as vassals where the Achaemenids would have had centrally appointed, albeit largely autonomous, satraps. The court did appoint a small number of satraps, largely outside Iran, but these satrapies were smaller and less powerful than the Achaemenid potentates. With the expansion of Arsacid power, the seat of central government shifted from Nisa, Turkmenistan to Ctesiphon along the Tigris (south of modern Baghdad, Iraq), although several other sites also served as capitals.

The Sassanid Empire (224 AD - 651 AD), also known as Ērānshahr and Ērān, was the last pre-Islamic Persian Empire, ruled by the Sasanian Dynasty from 224 to 651. The Sassanid Empire, which succeeded the Parthian Empire, was recognized as one of the two main powers in Western Asia and Europe, alongside the Roman Empire and its successor, the Byzantine Empire, for a period of more than 400 years.

The Sassanid empire was founded by Ardashir I, after the fall of the Arsacid Empire and the defeat of the last Arsacid king, Artabanus IV. It lasted until Yazdegerd III lost control of his empire in a series of invasions from the Arab Caliphate. During its existence, the Sassanid Empire encompassed all of today's Iran, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, the Caucasus (Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Dagestan), southwestern Central Asia, part of Turkey, certain coastal parts of the Arabian Peninsula, the Persian Gulf area, and areas of southwestern Pakistan, even stretching into India. The native name for the Sassanid Empire in Middle Persian is Eran Shahr which means Aryan Empire. The vexilloid of the Sassanid Empire was the Derafsh Kaviani.

The Sassanid era, during Late Antiquity, is considered to have been one of Persia's/Iran's most important and influential historical periods, and constituted the last great Iranian empire before the Muslim conquest and the adoption of Islam. In many ways, the Sassanid period witnessed the peak of ancient Persian civilization. Persia influenced Roman civilization considerably during the Sassanid period. The Sassanids' cultural influence extended far beyond the empire's territorial borders, reaching as far as Western Europe, Africa, China and India. It played a prominent role in the formation of both European and Asian medieval art.

at the same time showing you what you can expect the coming days. Example: Update of Swahili.... Please see POST #2 (page #1) for more details ;)

Can't see more details :dunno:.

And i guess that small piece which you're giving us here means that you'll do more stuff :D?

Someday you'll be giving Civ of the Week a run for its money. On the other hand, that's one less civ I'll need to bother with. :P

Also, that Zakariya looks awfully familiar. ;)

I got a lot of time on my hands at the moment... and little to do.

Ehh, I wish it was like this for me too :p
Anyway, really nice civs you are making!

Edit: When I create civs I usually create civs from areas that I think are underrepresentated (Africa: Swahili, Libya and Dahomey - Asia: Siberia and Indonesia) or civs that I mean are forgotten (Tartessos, Minoa, Indonesia etc.). I also plan on re-doing Khorsan and, instead of having all the mess, instead creat it as a sole Parthian civ so we could get the northeast-iranian/turkmenistan-area covered. I got a lot of time on my hands at the moment... and little to do.

Civ of the Week also seeks to do underrepresented or forgotten civs, as you probably already know. We must be of the same mind. :shifty:

IDK what you mean by symphatetic civ

They sound rather cruel, no real cultural and technological achievements, and in total rather...not...nice, that's what i mean.

But you can say the same things nearly also about the aztecs, so that's not a real reason for anything.

You can't do it for modular civs. That's why I couldn't do all the new diplomacy music for CivGold (well, that and it would've taken too much space).

Affoess actually found a way to circumnavigate this, so you might to look up one of his threads, though if I remember it requires a bit of (easy) python. Actually I don't remember if it was him... I think it was him.

Now I actually remember the reason why I don't do modular. :crazyeye:

Hmm. I see. Looking at the code, I can't see anything right off the bat that would be problematic. However, it is quite possible that you mistyped the XML in some other place or something... As a side note, how do you know that the audio is the problem?

Does it then have to be in the Mods folder in ProgramFiles or something?

Why would it be anywhere else?

If worse comes to worse you can send me the files and I'll take a look at them.
