Demographic Analysis & Intelligence

When we receive the turn, Essen has more culture than Christiana because Kuche has had one more turn.

Yup. Just shootin' in the dark here.

Hasn't the Kuche also had one more turn than the Hood? :)

I'm posting this pic of the Victory Screen that documents the Culture limit reduction to 80,000 culture points. Just something to be aware of.

From Turn 23:

Commerce (we have 12 cpt; 11 after corruption):

1 rival has 12 cpt
1 rival has 10 cpt
1 rival has 9 cpt

Shields (we have 6 spt):

1 rival has 6 spt
2 rivals have 5 spt

Food (we have 7 excess fpt and an average of 3.5 excess fpt):

1 rival averages more than 3.5 excess fpt
2 rivals average 3 excess fpt

Productivity (we have 24 = 7 food + 6 shields + 11 commerce):

2 rivals have 21
1 rival has 18

Camelot (Knights) is size 5.
Essen (Kuche) is size 2.
Wurzburg (Kuche) is size 1.
Christiana (Anarchie) is size 4.

We are #1 in military service with 2 years.

We are still #4 in disease with 3%.

Our approval rating is 62%, and we are still #2. 50% would still leave us at #2, and 75% would make us #1.

Our annual income of 1 per capita is second place.

2 rivals average 3 excess fpt

Productivity (we have 24 = 7 food + 6 shields + 11 commerce):

1 rival has 21
1 rival has 19
1 rival has 13

Camelot (Knights) is size 3.
Essen (Kuche) is size 2.
Wurzburg (Kuche) is size 1.

For me it looks as if the brotherhood is ding everything to get to Philosophy first. I think the stagnant town (see F11) has a scientist.

I agree, unless they popped huts for a city in a really bad location. This really throws off what we know about Kuche and the Brotherhood and what civs they are playing. Here is a list of things that we know, please add to it and correct it as we go so we can try and get a better picture here:
-the Knights have only built a granary, though they have had time to build a unit since
-Kuche have built two military units (not scouts) and lost one
-Kuche have built a granary
-both granaries needed to be rushed somehow
-Essen lost a population point soon before completing a granary
-one or both of them are seafaring
-one of them is industrious
-both have built a second city without building a settler
Finally, we have not seen a single goody hut in our rather extensive travels. For goody hut probabilities go here.

The Brotherhood built a settler - they dropped from pop 5 to pop 3 on turn 24, and that is long enough after the granary to have accumulated the 30 shields.

I think it is good news that the knights are using a scientist. They were very likely to win the race to Philosophy anyway, so having them unnecessarily sacrifice growth is a good thing.

Ah, I had missed that, so I guess things aren't quite so uncertain anymore. I agree about the scientist, plus now we can be certain that they will get to philosophy first, so we don't need to decide whether or not to try. We will have to think about wonders soon though, since they will get mapmaking several turns before us. I think the city is probably in a location similar to Tuscan Talon, possibly closer to the capital.

I doubt they are though. Calis mentioned that people at CiFo seldom do the Republic slingshot. Lanzelot also probably knows that, so they are likely just trying to get Map Making or Code of Laws.

IF we want to have a wonder city, I would suggest one W of the gold hill (far S of Aerie). This would be a very productive site.

I haven't done the details on turn 25 or 26 yet, but here is a summary of what I think we know:

Knights - playing as Carthage (seafaring, industrious)
Capital is Camelot.
Turn 7 - Grew to size 2
Turn 12 - Grew to size 3
Turn 16 - Built a granary at size 3
Turn 17 - Grew to size 4
Turn 20 - Built a worker (they grew to size 4 on turn 17 and stayed there until turn 23)
Turn 23 - Grew to size 5
Turn 24 - Built a settler, dropped to size 3
Turn 26 - Grew to size 4

2nd city - Tintagel
Turn 25 - founded
Turn 26 - no growth

Summary - built granary, 1 settler, 1 worker

Kuche - not industrious
Capital is Essen
This team confuses the heck out of me.
Turn 6 - built a warrior
Turn 7 - grew to size 2
Turn 12 - grew to size 3
Turn 13 - gained a second military unit
Turn 15 - dropped from size 3 to size 2
Turn 17 - grew to size 3
Turn 18 - lost a military unit
Turn 19 - Built a granary at size 3
Turn 20 - Dropped from size 3 to size 2
Turn 23 - Built a worker? (stayed at size 2 from 20-25)
Turn 26 - Grew to size 3

2nd city - Wurzburg
Turn 20 - Founded
Turn 27 - Grew to size 2

Summary - Built 1-2 military units (but only has 1 remaining), granary, worker, popped a settler, whipped 1-2 times?

Anarchie
Capital is Christiana
Turn 8 - Grew to size 2
Turn 13 - grew to size 3
Turn 17 - Built a granary at size 3
Turn 19 - Built a worker? (stayed at size 3 through turn 21)
Turn 22 - grew to size 4
Turn 24 - built a settler, dropped to size 2
Turn 25 - grew to size 3
Turn 26 - built a worker, dropped to size 2

Summary - built granary, settler, 2 workers

Kuche really makes no sense at all to me building a granary on turn 19, then losing a citizen on turn 20, but the others seem to add up nicely.

Lanzelot posted this in the temporary leave thread in the PBEM forum:

I find that just interesting news:

Sorry, due to critical situation in our ISDG, all my PBEM games have to wait until tomorrow night (perhaps even two days delay...)

Lanzelot

EDIT: As there is nothing to read in the CiFo, I can just suspect that either they are threatened by barbs, or the other team. :dunno:

From Turn 25:

Commerce (we have 12 cpt; 11 after corruption):

1 rival has more than 14 cpt
1 rival has 10 cpt
1 rival has 9

Shields (we have 6 spt):

2 rivals have 7 spt
1 rival has 5 spt

Food (we have 7 excess fpt and an average of 3.5 excess fpt):

All rivals average 3 excess fpt

Productivity (we have 24 = 7 food + 6 shields + 11 commerce):

1 rival has more than 24
1 rival has 22
1 rival has 21

Camelot (Knights) is size 3.
Tingatel (Knights) is size 1.
Essen (Kuche) is size 2.
Christiana (Anarchie) is size 3.

We are #1 in military service with 5 years.

We are still #4 in disease with 3%.

Our annual income of 1 per capita is second place.
