whats cache?
Well, I think it's where your computer keeps old views in memory so you don't have to load all the graphics on a page each time you visit, but I have no idea how to find it or clear it out.

That thread led to another site that gave instructions for several browser types, BUT (here's what it said for IE 6.0):

Clearing Cache on Microsoft® Internet Explorer 6.0
Click Start, select Settings and Control Panel.
Double-click Internet Options to open Internet Properties.
Click the General tab.
Click Delete Files.
NOTE:Do not select Delete Cookies. Delete Files removes all the cookies stored on the computer.
Click OK on the Delete Files dialog box.
Click OK.

Um, I don't WANT to delete all my cookies. I'm registered all over the net, and I need some of those cookies.

If it's a matter of getting all the "bold" topics to stop being bold, all you have to do is spend about 15 minutes reading a succession game without changing pages (or just go watch TV for a half hour). When you're through, all the bolding will be gone, even if you did NOT want it to go away. Happens to me every time I take the time to read a complicated SG, and it leaves your cookies intact.

Just load IE, click Tools -> Internet Options, and click "Delete Files". I think they meant to say "Delete Cookies" removes all cookies. Delete files most certainly does not, I have done it before.

@gmH, Deleting cache files also dumps all the jscripts that have been downloaded and since the scripting changed for CFC that will avoid any conflicts. It does not delete your "cookies" (they looked too good to throw away :D)

I'm always tossing my cookies... Oh sorry... wrong subject. :D

After looking at the new map in the carto room I thought I would muse that it seemed very curious that TNT would mine a hill so early when there were plains available. :crazyeye: What up wid dat?

It often seems that TNT is playing an entirely different game with completely different rules and strategies from the rest of us. Maybe we should file a "complaint" that they are mining hills just to confuse us. Could they be mining that hill just to test if such a complaint might be filed?

Hi guys,

I'm writing you to ask a question about using CA2. In the technology screen, we can see exactly what techs each team has. This is not available in game except obviously for the techs that we have that the other team doesn't.

So my question is... Is this ok to use in this game? If not, then how will it be moderated so that we make sure that teams avoid looking at that screen? I can provide a screenshot if necessary.

My feelings on it are that it's ok, since everyone has access to that information since CA2 is a "legal" program. I'd hate to lose the access to CA2 but this information is looked at by some as spoilerish information. I don't want to have KISS accussed of cheating so I want to clear this up before it gets too far.

Thanks,
Tubby

This may be a stupid question, but have you upgraded to the latest version?

yes I have... That's the only reply I've gotten back from GA. RM still hasn't responded so I'm assumming that it's ok.

As I watch the game progress let me just say to the more experienced players I am learning from,

"I LOVE SETTLER PUMPS!!!

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

You ain't seen nothing yet Boots. Worker pump coming online next and a few military pumps comin' right up!

Is this to be posted in main thread? If it is I'd say don't. It will certainly put people off hearing us going on about what we will do to them when we've run them over. Seeing that elite MIA warrior in our undefended core knowing that part of the MIA team wants to attack I would be careful about our display of attitude. We have no muscle to back that up...yet.
