well the north-siders have dropped out loooong ago. Cubs suck and one day I'll find another team to rout for. but until then I'll slice myself with paper cuts and bathe in a tub full of salty lemon juice. (Does any other Cubs fan feel this way?)

Living in Cincinnati I have to be content with the Cubbies winning the head to head games w/ the Reds. The Reds started the year by backing up poor pitching with lousy defense and then got their act together. And then not. Cubs on a 4-21 streak come into town and take 2 of 3 which is the only moral victory I can come up with.

Welcome to our humble home where idiocy is spread, being grumpy is cool and as you see we have a couple cubs fans.
You already know about that type...true idiocy.

Feel free to post in any thread and join in our IM chats. I've tried to give new people an executive sumamary of what's happened so far in the stickied thread "dept. of stupid decisions". Most of the game type threads you'll want to peruse are either stickied or have had some post within the last few weeks. The others are mostly just funny. We have some whackos on this team. I think of us as like a family, though some would say a "good 'ol boys network...all I know is we've got the only woman gmaharriet in the MTDG and she rocks. She makes us cookies.

Oh and for anyone else reading this....Have I told you lately I love you guys, man.
