You are correct Dagh however it just as easily could have been used against us. The fact is it was a treaty. The discussion with Chamnix was laid out that we would go our separate way but really each team still had responsibilities to each other. They traded and didn't follow through on their end of the bargain.

I know I'm being very technical and by the book but I'm trying to give us every edge we can find. As Rik Meleet said "these games will be won by what happens out of game not ingame". They are winning the out of game battle.

If we back off I'm fine with that but I would like to send one more PM to
Fe3333au on a personal level letting him know that we are deeply disappointed one final time and can give them a chance to make amends and peace or.......
 
I'm fine with another PM to MIA. It might be good to come off whiny in that email. Almost with a tone indicating that they have beaten us. That way they might not expect what's coming in 5 turns.

I send you this in hopes we can break the tension and come to some possible terms for peace. Our agreement (the written one) was a considerable disappointment to me since (as the admins have stated and you can check with them if you please) you did not hold up your end of the bargain. However, they also stated it’s too late to get any gratification since it should have been done between turns 84-94. Which we requested at that time. At that time, we requested “favoured nation status” after you gave hard earned techs we developed together to TNT. My personal view is the whole treaty was broken the moment you disagreed and we should have attacked you then. My team disagrees and wants to still honor this broken agreement.

I appeal to you personally to avoid conflict. If your team is prepared to declare war on us already then so be it and let’s have at it. If not then let’s try to establish a dialogue. This dialogue should include how we should be compensated and the peace process.

other than that... looks good. I like the part about your team disagreeing with you. It sounds like we want peace but really doesn't say anything of the sort.

The next few turns should be played quickly so that we can get to turn 104 as soon as possible.

The consensus in the 'when should we attack' poll at the moment is that we are not quite ready yet anyway. Shame about those wasted turns when MIA was still weak, but hey... what can you do. Keep up the whiny notes to MIA though, loving it :thumbsup:

can anyone play this? Kunnigas is away Saturday and would like to get to it today. I didn't think that anyone had an issue with sending Republic to D'nut.
 
I can take this in a couple of hours, what's Kuningas' time zone? If I take it, the save will be sent 10 pm CET at the latest. If someone else wants to take it before me, no hard feelings :)
 
Never done diplo stuff but I could play it right right now, so I'll try not to screw up the 2-3 clicks it takes to push technology--republic--accept.
 
turn 101 is in & I have it.
 
we're on turn 102 when it comes back around. That means that we have turn 102 and 103 and then on turn 104 blood should be spilled. I think that it's VERY prudent that someone who knows about blood-letting should take the next two turns.

I guarantee that I'll screw up the positions and make stupid mistakes
 
I guarantee you'll do a very fine job and anyone who'll take it could very very well do the same mistakes anywho :p
