Design: Religions

Well, The word means immortals. I guess it is thereligion of the inhabitants of the Blair of Lacuna, which was created by Ceridwen and is where Os-Gabella lived with her adopted/stolen children (presumably all the inhabitants before Alexis were immortal). The Emyrs is the Ceridwen Religion.

Of the 21 angels The One created, 7 rebelled. Rather than sending the other 14 against the 7, which would ensure victory, he only assigned 7 of them for fighting, and the other 7 were angels of neutrality. There are good reasons for doing that.

What I am trying to say is both Cassiel and Basium, and everything in between, are needed to counter evil. They would continue to do their own thing, not seeing the bigger picture, blaming the other for doing the "wrong" thing... and perhaps this was the intention of The One in the first place?

A question I asked a few times on these forums already, but I still don't understand, is this: if Bhall rebelled, why do the followers of Junil still wield fire like they did in the Age of Magic?

When Bhall fell, many of her angels (including her archangel, Brigit) did not fall. Most of those that stayed holy went on to serve Lugus, but I'm sure some probably defected to Junil instead.

Since there were so many different angels of fire with such differring alignments, Bhall could not keep control of her element; it went from being the hardest to the easiest element to control, even without the aid of magic.

Dunno if proper thread, but i found that under CoE you get option which looks like an exploit to me: Slave trading - after activating this council option, you can buy unlimited amount of slaves, which can be used for hurrying buildings. OK, guess for what? 10gp each. How many production will you get? 22hammers!!!! from single slave! So you can, with decent economy, build any buildings(include wonders!) in single turn(just buy 60 slaves for 600gp and you have Crown of Anarkien in single turn(cost 1300hammers)). This leads to even better economy and soon you rule the world. I think this slave thing needs to be toned down, otherwise Esus is overpowered religion IMHO. And Esus IS a strong religion even without slavestrading.

This thread still needs some serious updating... it still states KotD to be a major religion! Not that it has i high priority or anything, but new players checking out the forums can quickly get confused by something like this.
