Designing a War of the Worlds Scenario & Modpack

Yes there are 11-12 more planned Thorgrimm just has to send me the files so I can get them done. Most likely be done tommorow.

Sorry the real world required my attention. Here is a screen of the new cities that Celeborn provided. Thanks Dude.

Cheers Thorgrimm

I REALLY hate Jpegs

They are Barbarian camps that if i had more cities they would be cities in south america, but since the limit is 512 cities i had to put something there to represent human habitation.

Fearless Leader has asked that these 2 pictures be previewed. The main title screen and an animated leaderhead that I had made.

he's only waiting on me to finish a few units he says

As soon as I get Conquests (should be the second week or something of January), I'll be more than willing to help playtest as well!

it's nearly finished, so it would be a teensy bit late.

heres the new title screen I cooked up using my units. CAn we see a little similarity between this and the album cover???

Its great but it looks like the Tripod has missed the warship - or if it is hitting it then it looks like there is nothing happening.

I like it. It doesn't really look like it missed the ship, but it sort of does. I think adding in a flame on the ship would not improve it though.

It's only my first draft people

The newest and possibly last version of the title screen.

 I especially like the way the gun turrets of the sinking ship are futilely "aimed" at the tripod.

Oz they werent futilely aimed.

That Warship was - in the War of the Worlds - the last Warship in the British navy and it was mankinds last hope for victory.
It destroyed two tripods before the third - as you see above, got it. Amazing id say for Martian War Machines vs late 19th cent early 20th cent warship.

BUT the second one is brilliant. :)
