Well Fearless leader is incorrect.

The Iron hulled warship is British and the ship in the background is a transport ship attempting to escape - the Thunderchild is covering them.

Why may i ask would an American warship be on the coast of the British isles at the height of the British Empire?
The ship battling the Martian Tripods is British.

The scenario is nearing completion. I've jsut finished up nearly the last of the units. Here are some unique ones found nowhere else.

Martian "naval" transport. Since Mars has no oceans and only small canals, the martians are just adapting their suspension technology to larger frames. Hence the cloud of ionized water just underneath the ship is an effect of the suspension technology. The fortify animation shows the craft's plasma shielding being charged when under attack.

Thanks Oz. It turned out to be a much more elaborate unit than I had previously planned. It's only supposed to be a simple transport! Looks a bit like Seaquest DSV doesn't it?

It does and a little like the minbari transport from bab5. Still, WOW.

@Marcus, That's mostly because of the blue marble texture I gave it. Thorgrimm tested it in game and said it blasted a german BB dead amidships. (That's sailor talk for the center of the ship)

I was indeed reminded of it, but only due to the "organic" nature of the construction -- IIRC Seaquest was inspired by the lines of both shark and squid -- but yours is nonetheless unique, managing to both fit in very well with the mod's other units yet taking their "design theory" a very interesting extra step.
