I've moved on now from the days of clutter. Who needs desktop items? Everthing important's there:

START MENU
FUNKY DUCK THING TO TELL ME I'VE GOT MAIL
CLICKBAR (THOUGH I KNOW EVERYONE HERE HATES ASK JEEVES)
DESKTOP DROP DOWN LIST TO ACCESS THAT ALL IMPORTANT RECYCLE BIN (IVE DELETED ALL OTHER DESKTOP ITEMS)
BONZI BUDDY (THOUGH I KNOW I SHOULDN'T HAVE HIM, BECAUSE HE UNSECRETISES MY SECRETS, HES JUST SOOOOO CUTE)
