How come some of you guys have transparent icon text backgrounds and some of you don't? I can't seem to get transparent icon text backgrounds, so I got rid of them:

I rotate my background quite often, with these (half dimensions):

Incidentally, the lyrics on the backgrounds are from the CD I'm playing in first picture.

It appears that the users with XP have transparent icon text and those with earlier OS's do not.

I wouldn't say Venus Hot. I live south of her and sometimes it feels awefully chilly; (like today)

Waterloo? Sounds interesting... what is it?

It's just your typical scenario-based historical war game. Kind of like Sid Meier's: Gettysburg (Which I also have, it doesn't work on XP) but it's set in Europe at the battle of Waterloo. You can either Command the English and Prussian armies to bring doen the "Emperor", or lead the French to an upset victory. And, just for flavor, all the unit's voice bites are recorded in the proper languages.
"Former en lignes!"
"Assemle les Cannons!"
"Vive La France!"
And so on and so forth. Quite fun.
