I'm sure SK is around. Afterall, he played the last turn only 5 days ago now. He's had numerous computer problems. I'll PM him. Maybe he'll see that. I'd hate to have to skip a turn already played.

Well guys. I think its decision time. I PM'd SK on the 15th and haven't heard from him. Its been 5 days since he posted his turns. I vote we unfortunately should move on without the save and just play the turns over. Anyone else's thoughts?

I just finished my last final gentlemen.
I'm up for play for about the next month or so.
We're gonig to have to skip SK this time I'm afraid... 5 days and not a word? The last time this happened he was gone for a month... Besides, if we skip and someone losses some turns, it may help everyone else remeber to attach the save.

Aaah. Christmas break time should get some of you students active again for a bit.
Okay. Regarding play order, we'll still track turns and order, but only to force some sort of round skip. Anyone can claim an unclaimed game once per round. The person who is up has a bit more leniency on posting game turns before we decide to skip. Here's what I posted before. It basically turned out working this way last round, so I think this will work going forward.
1)-Oblivion- <-- skip until Jan 2
2)Blasphemous <-- UP
3)SolarKnight
4)SandrockLQ
5)SpikeIt
6)Smellincoffee

1. Person UP has rights to turn for 48 hours, but must post GOT IT to claim turn. Afterwards, the next person will be considered UP.
2. If person UP claims the game, he has 72 hours to post/update.
3. If the game is not currently claimed, ANYBODY can claim it who has not played that round.
4. If you claim the game, but you were not UP, please let us know when you will post, or post turns or a status within 24 hours.
5. A round is over when everyone has played, or no one else can play for 48 hours..

I'll get it and play it tomorrow night, probably. But feel free to claim and play before me if you can be quick about it (yeah right.)
I should let you guys know: I'm not going to continue with you on to DGiT5, except as a lurker. I've completely stopped playing regular Civ, I only play RoX now, and that makes it hard for me to play in an SG that's not RoX-based. That is in part why I have been so hesitant to take sets in this game.

Blas Skipped which would put SK up but he would play his own save if he did. So, we should probably skip him... I'm sure he'd aggree. SpikeIt, think you can claim it and play this before Thursday when Sandrock can take it?
PS - Anyone use Torrents? Is it just me, or are all the big sites down??? Suprnova.org, filelist.org, and torrentsearch.com aren't loading at all. I can't even get on Youcefs!

My friends. You all are loco if you think I can possibly finish a set in a day just days before Christmas. Between shopping, gift wrapping, taking care of son, etc, etc it just would not be possible. Blas, if you can play before Sandrock, that's great. If Sandrock played on Thursday, then we will have two sets done this week.
Heck, Alerum, if you have the time take it. While it would be silly for SK to play again after having just played, that's kind of the point of this system of ours. If we have the time and the game is available, take it and play it. The game is open to everyone. In fact, since besides Blas, you probably played the farthest back, Alerum, it would make some sense for you to grab it if you can.
I can probably grab the game after Sandrock and chug it out between holiday things this coming weekend. But anytime before Christmas would just not work out.
So, for the sake of showing the turn order, Blas is a skip, SK is considered up, but ANYONE can call got it to play this round. It would probably make the most sense for SK to hold off and let some others play first, but I say if he can play it, thats fine too.
