did america help the allies win ww1?

Rhetoric is more a ferret (or it should be). You are defending your position and attacking the others. Believe me I have a strong skin. However if you read carefully your posts again you have to see that some of the passages are not very polite. Perhaps you can learn something from that.

I bet you've seen plenty of worse things around here, and on lesser issues.

Also you do not accept to see some factors. So you just told something of belligerent record of Germany. It was militaristic. But indeed in the Germans were only involved in 8% of all wars from 1800- 1945. France otoh was involved in 33%. Indeed strong militaristic states are among the most peaceful ones, too. So I get the impression that you are neglecting facts.

That's not a very fair comparison Prussia/Germany did not become a real power until the second half of the 19th century. And my comment about belligerence refers to Germany's weltpolitik, which is mainly the Kaiser's doing. But, in any case, let's check the list:

1792–1815 Napoleonic Wars (both French and German involvement)
1830-Ten Days Campaign (French involvement)
1830-1831 Polish-Russian war (none)
1848-1851 First Schleswig War (Prussian involvement)
1848–1866 Italian Independence wars (France took part in 2nd, Prussia in 3rd)
1854-1856 Crimean War (France)
1864 Second Schleswig War (Prussia)
1864 January Uprising (none)
1866–1866 Austro-Prussian War (Prussia)
1870–1871 Franco-Prussian War (France and Prussia)
1877–1878 Russo–Turkish War (none)
1885 Serbo-Bulgarian War (none)
1897 First Greco–Turkish War (none, but a German served as Turkish Pasha)
1911-1912 Italo-Turkish War (none)
1912–1913 Balkan Wars (none)
1914–1918 World War I (France and Germany)
1916 Easter Rising (none)
1917–1920 Estonian Liberation War (Germany)
1918-1919 Polish-Ukrainian War (none)
1919-1920 War between Poland and Ukraine (none)
1919-1920 Conflict between Poland and Lithuania (none)
1918–1919 Czechoslovakia-Hungary War (none)
1918-1919 Greater Poland Uprising (Germany)
1918 Polish-Czech war for Teschen Silesia (none)
1919-1921 Silesian Uprisings (Germany - due to policy of Germanization)
1918–1920 Russian Civil War (France)
1919-1921 Polish-Soviet War (none)
1919-1921 Anglo-Irish War (none)
1922-1923 Irish Civil War (none)
1936–1939 Spanish Civil War (Germany)
1939–1945 World War II (France and Germany)

France appears 8 times on that list, while Germany/Prussia appears 12 times, so I really wonder where you got your statistic from.

You have listed only conflict in Europe, Adler said in ALL war, so you have to include the rest of the world as well.

True. But I wonder how many wars France got involved in outside Europe. There's the Mexican war and maybe a conflict or two in Africa/Indochina. China too, I guess, but Germany was in it as well. Do you have a list?

America helped the allies win, not in 1917-18 when Germany would have collapsed regardless, but from as early as 1914, by whoring themselves out to the British arms procurement program and succumbing to British wartime propaganda.

1825 Franco-Trarzan War

They even fought Tarzan?

Now, we need a list of the wars Prussia/Germany took part in for the sake of comparison, s'il vous plait :D

This is probably true, but how important were American arms to the war? Would the Allies not have won without them? I haven't read much on that.

I have listed 36 conflits for France. You have listed 18 for Prussia / Germany.
We still haven't listed all the conflicts during this time period.

However, could you please now explain how, with France having 2x more than Germany, you can arrive to a figure of Germany being 8% of total, and France 33%?

The 1904 Herero uprising?
Tends to get a lot of press retrospectively.

No that one is in. I mistyped me. It is the Hottentot uprising. However I forgot the war of 1886-1887 to end slavery in East Africa.
Anyway I have to find the source from where I have the infos about this.

Looks like when it came to European conflicts, Prussia/Germany was about as involved as France. And that isn't any wonder, is it? France was an earlier imperial power and had more extensive overseas possessions.

7 Wars with France in Europe from 1800-1945 from 11. France was involved in 19 European wars. No, aelf, that is again wrong. Germany was involved in 11 European wars, while France was in 19. Also when we exclude the wars France was an opponent, Germany was involved in 4 wars while France in 12 without Germany being opponent. Although I could not find the source I had the figures from this still backs up my theory.

Yeah well, I have never heard of any Khoi-San uprisings against German colonial rule, so that figures
The Herero were a different kettle of fish all together.:)
