Diplo for D'nut

Sir Bugsy said:
If we could time our D-Day 2 Landing to coincide with their declaration, we would crush TNT. A three way attack would cripple them. If our diplomats agree, let's give the Nutters our plan.
That's exactly what I'm thinking. Let's tell the nutters our plan. I think it will help us both if they attack 1 or 2 turns after our ground offensive rumbles out of Spite or Auda City.

I'll leave it to G-man to decide whether to go after the center or the SE Flank... but our ground forces should be able to roll in 2 turns, with our amphibioius landing poised to land 2 turns later. If 'nuts time their attack to come on the same turn as our amphibious landing... anything TNT pulls from the south to meet our main stack will not be able to return to their posts in time to meet the Doughnutian forces.

Our timing has been impeccable. Peace with MIA just in time for a April Fool's day invasion, a beautifully timed GA and now our 2nd invasion force ready to pounce at the same time they're ready to unleash their offensive. I love it.

I agree we should discuss our plans to coordinate with theirs. The aftermath will be complete and utter panic by both MIA and TNT.

However, it's time to start thinking about handling the aftermath.

How are we going to split up the continent? Will we need to renegotiate a long term agreement that requires Donut and KISS are the last man standing? What victory condition is most palatable to both teams? Semtex? We could use it to our benefit in Commie for pop rushing with MoM. Luxs? Land splits? What will MIA do in all of this? What are we willing to compromise or is it with the victors go the spoils?

I think we need to start thinking ahead on these situations.

Do we have a map of Battle Isle so we can decide how to carve this turkey?

just thinking out loud. Don't tell anyone that I think, I'll deny it.

We running along the bottom of the tech tree right? anyone know to use cannons and cavalry? ;)

Interesting conversation with Killercane today. Sounds like MIA is saber rattling with them. Read the letter they sent to Donuts.

casey j says:
whats up whomper
Whomp says:
Hey Case. What's up there?
casey j says:
not much just saw you on here
casey j says:
got some free time
Whomp says:
what's news? I heard you spoke to scout
casey j says:
yeah what did he tell you
Whomp says:
sounds like he'd like to discuss some coordination
Whomp says:
i think we can take them out fast
casey j says:
that would be good, I think the southern cities are primed for the taking
casey j says:
MIA might enter the war though, and you would be forced to fight them too
Whomp says:
you think?
casey j says:
that was our only hold up
casey j says:
they wont guarantee peace with us
Whomp says:
we have peace with them
casey j says:
i know but per our agreement if we are at war with the other two sides you have to declare on them, its somethign to think about
Whomp says:
i know
Whomp says:
if they did that it would be a mistake for them
casey j says:
we have tried to get them to guarantee peace, they wont without us giving them something like a no trade clause with you
Whomp says:
bah
casey j says:
so that we cant share techs, which is laughable since they know we are in bed together
casey j says:
they are stupid
casey j says:
i think MIA is screwed either way

Whomp says:
our borders with them are reasonably secure
Whomp says:
i think so as well
casey j says:
if they do attack, they will lose, if they dont they will fall behind in research against the two of us
Whomp says:
this is hurting them so bad indirectly it's unreal
casey j says:
they have chosen their friends.... poorly
Whomp says:
agreed
Whomp says:
i'd prefer to work with you guys from the beginning
casey j says:
the same here
casey j says:
i think it will play out we will team up on MIA and then have a space race or some huge war, either would be fine with me
Whomp says:
that's the way i see it. a space race with the two ags would be interesting
casey j says:
i hope that kuningas will stay on runnign the show, robi d was a great general but not so hot with the temple builds and bad micromanagement

Whomp says:
i think with you 3 all bases are covered
Whomp says:
just let robi handle battle it sounds
Whomp says:
but i'm sure you and kuningas are no slouches
casey j says:
i dont know we do alright, kuningas is the man of course
Whomp says:
well i wonder if we should tell MIA that they should not fight and do you think that backs us in a corner?
Whomp says:
*and = or
casey j says:
i dont know
casey j says:
how are your relations
Whomp says:
Adm. K. talked to Fe and Fe said they want a long term peace
casey j says:
we told them to join the war while the gettin was good
Whomp says:
spoils of war, right?
Whomp says:
TNT is through fast if you attack
casey j says:
here is their letter
casey j says:
Thank you very much for your reply to our recent communications, you have gained much respect by being so honest and frank.

We are eager to have a non-aggression pact with you – but we must make it perfectly clear that we see KISS as a major threat that is quickly advancing on a "domination" victory in this world. If you attack TNT to "salvage some land" there is no question that this will be a M
casey j says:
be a MAJOR boost to KISS' conquest ambitions. An action against TNT will tip the balance of power to an unacceptable level, therefore any treaty between our civilizations will have to include a clause that prevents you from aiding KISS in this manner.

However, we're more than happy to see you expanding into the "Sacred J
casey j says:
"Sacred Jungle" and claim "TNT land" in a less aggressive manner. Perhaps you could even sign a peace deal with TNT that specifically grants you large portions of the Jungle?

As mentioned in the previous correspondence, we remain open to including some generous technology trading options to our non-aggression treaty with you – but you'll have to suggest the format for this, as we don't know the d
casey j says:
and blah blah blah
Whomp says:
they are begging
casey j says:
they should be
casey j says:
they dont have any options
Whomp says:
they've been crippled
casey j says:
they shouldnt have spawned all those settlers and libraries to get to the most land area or whatever
Whomp says:
they're packing the border tight too

That is so interesting. We need to make sure that MIA knows that any aggression against Donuts breaks our peace.

Those guys are sweating it out though. Their science buddy is floundering and they are in deep kimshi.

Maybe have donuts tell them that if they wish to stop our domination victory, they need to claim some TNT lands for themselves. That really is their only option. Otherwise if they sit back and wait we will over balance and roll right over MIA.

Perhaps this might be a good time for me to be publicly "deposed" from turnplayership... for overbuilding our military, and not using our GA to build infrastructure.

Perhaps one of our more "subtle" diplomats (this is not you Igor :p) could "leak" it to MIA that we decided to switch turnplayers to someone who can shift us out of warmonger mode after our GA ends...

Ah, poor Scout! Returned humiliated to Mathilda's comforting arms. :p

I tried highlighting the good stuff. Coordinated war plans and investigating Dancing 'Nana for 52g.
Spoiler :
scoutsout says:
I'm trying to eat dinner and chat with Whomp in another window...
scoutsout says:
.... but I really do want to compare notes with you tonight.
Whomp says:
hey Rob
Rob says:
hey whomp
Whomp says:
You get my pm today? This was in regards the the ridiculous demands I made of BCLG of TNT with no intent on signing anything with TNT.
Rob says:
yes i did
Whomp says:
hah
Whomp says:
they have no clue
Rob says:
no, they sent us one about negotiating a new treaty
Whomp says:
he told me he would
Whomp says:
because i told him one of our conditions is disbanding their military
Whomp says:
the conditions were absurd soo...
Rob says:
hehe, i'm sure they would be happy to do that
Rob says:
although i hear you disbanded some units for them
Whomp says:
we did
Whomp says:
more to come
Rob says:
was that the stack of pikes you told me about
Whomp says:
yep
Rob says:
how many did you guys lose
Whomp says:
i think they expected to fortify the pikes in front of the city
Whomp says:
we lost 2
Rob says:
lol
Whomp says:
but we had 3 or 4 elite wins
Rob says:
sounds a bit like their battle with us
Whomp says:
they were thinking send in the pikes and fortify. Then send a stack of immortals to follow...uh..no
Rob says:
did they bring their horses around
Whomp says:
1
Whomp says:
smacked one of those too
Rob says:
hmm i would have expected a few more
Whomp says:
i think they were hoping to bring them afterwards when the pikes were fortified
Rob says:
possibly, but then it seems a little starnge to only bring 1
scoutsout says:
That was a lot of fun, that turn....
Rob says:
i bet
Rob says:
would have been a laugh writng the battle report
scoutsout says:
@Rob: I am really looking forward to looking over your turns from the earlier TNT war...
scoutsout says:
...after this is all over...
Rob says:
yeah, those were good times, i think in total for the whole war, we lost 12 units to there 30
Rob says:
but donsig made it easy for me
scoutsout says:
Donsig is... not really a great tactician...
scoutsout says:
...that's... about as kind as I can be on that count.
Rob says:
i was saying to whomp the other day, he is very one dimensional in his think
Whomp says:
what do you think Scout?
scoutsout says:
That's ...wow...
scoutsout says:
daaaang... that's a bit o' scunion....
Whomp says:
too much?
scoutsout says:
Depends...
Whomp says:
should i tone it down a bit?
scoutsout says:
Let's get into MTDG stuff... since we've (finally) got Rob on...
scoutsout says:
We can chat about the other stuff later.
Whomp says:
sorry rob
Rob says:
nah whomp, ket him have it
scoutsout says:
Whomp's trying to help others...
Rob says:
*let
Whomp says:
he's such a little ****
scoutsout says:
hehehe
scoutsout says:
Okay...@Robi D: You guys want to hit TNT soon, don't you?
Rob says:
we have some units in production now and the rest are making their way into position. We want to take as many cities in one turn as possible so they don't have a chance to disband. I think we should be ready within 10 turns
scoutsout says:
Wow... ten turns...
Rob says:
more likely less, but 10 at the most
scoutsout says:
We're about to do something that might... play to advantage for you guys if you can be ready sooner....
scoutsout says:
@Whomp: Are you okay with putting some cards on the table?
scoutsout says:
are you guys still with me?
Rob says:
i'm here
scoutsout says:
Here's the idea...and I think it's one you'll like.
Rob says:
ok
scoutsout says:
... I wish Whomp would go ahead and give me the green light to talk about this...
scoutsout says:
...but here goes.
scoutsout says:
We're assembling a pretty good stack to go after them...
scoutsout says:
We don't know yet where we'll hit them, but it will be a push that even Donsig can't ignore...
scoutsout says:
...we're hoping to draw thier forces towards the center...
scoutsout says:
...and then we plan to hit them on a flank 2 turns later, from out of the blue...so to speak.
Rob says:
that would be with the boats coming down to the jungle i presume
scoutsout says:
I will give you locations if Whomp agrees (anarchy rule...I need one more team member to agree...) But I can tell you this: If your attacks come 2 turns after "our big push" ...
scoutsout says:
... then whatever they pull from their front with you ... will be 2 turns away from making it back to reinforce whatever you guys want to attack...
Rob says:
if its SW of the fish on the coast then its the location i suggested to whomp
Whomp says:
i'm here sorry
scoutsout says:
...and if your attacks just 'happen' to coincide with our "flanking" maneuver...
scoutsout says:
Do you see the potential?
Rob says:
hmmm 2 turns, just give me a sec. i want to check the game, brb
scoutsout says:
... actually... it'll be a little more than 2 turns from now...
scoutsout says:
...We think we want you to hit them 2 turns after our 'big push'....
scoutsout says:
...which will come... pretty soon.
scoutsout says:
@Whomp: Am I telling too much?
scoutsout says:
Are you okay with this?
Whomp says:
i'm fine
Whomp says:
i hope rob wouldn't tell TNT
Whomp says:
or MIA for that matter
scoutsout says:
We need to discuss MIA... but let's see if Rob likes these tactical ideas first...
scoutsout says:
I think it plays to their advantage (as well as ours)
scoutsout says:
@Whomp: so it's okay to put these cards on the table?
Whomp says:
i say yes
scoutsout says:
Okay then... I'll go ahead and say it. @Robi D: We're planning an "amphibious assault" against TNTs Iron town on the NW coast.
Rob says:
do worry we wont tell tnt or mia anything
scoutsout says:
Our plan is to hit them in the center with "The Big Stack"... and then...when thier troops from the hinterlands come to meet that stack, we land against their Iron town.
Rob says:
now i just checked in the game, we will have unit in place to attack 2 of their cities in 5 turns.
scoutsout says:
@ Rob: I am curious as to your thoughts on the timing... if we mount "the push" ...
scoutsout says:
...and wait 2 turns before additional action... thier reinforcements will be 2 turns out from helping what you decide to attack in the south...and 2 turns from helping what we attack on the flank...
scoutsout says:
Do you see the potential in that?
Rob says:
yes i do
scoutsout says:
You guys will be attacking w/ Mounted Warriors, right?
Rob says:
2 turns is about the right gap
Rob says:
yes MW's
scoutsout says:
MWs... good... cause we cant afford to buy Chivalry off you guys just yet.
scoutsout says:
Okay..so you like this "gap" in the timing, right?
Rob says:
we have our little flanking manouver planned too
scoutsout says:
Which flank?
Rob says:
knowing donsig, 2 turns should be plenty for him to commit
scoutsout says:
We don't want to accidentally run into you guys on a flank...
scoutsout says:
... I hope I haven't messed up... I thought you guys would be after lux in the middle...
Rob says:
i don't think that would happen, we are lining up his outlining cities in the jungle
Rob says:
do you have a third flank planned?
scoutsout says:
Okay... I'd just hate to meet your MWs on a flank... because that would mean BOTH of us neglected a flank...which would suck...
scoutsout says:
Though we have the troops for a third flank... we lack your speed..
scoutsout says:
...or...more to the point... we lack the ability to back up that speed.
Rob says:
from what you saying if all goes according to plan, we will be meeting up in the centre of tnt after all the other cities have dissapeared
scoutsout says:
So... we meet in Dancing Banana, you bring the doughnuts, and we bring the coffee?
Rob says:
once we have thier jungle cities under control we can re inforce quicky because they helpful spent a lot of time building a road through the jungle
scoutsout says:
(We can't see south of Dancing Banana...so if you want to meet up somewhere else... you'll have to tell us...)
Rob says:
can you see much west of DB
scoutsout says:
So if you can consolidate those new holdings with their troops too far out to reinforce, that'll be good for you..and we can take 'em out pretty quick!
scoutsout says:
I can see one coastal town west of DB...
scoutsout says:
Nothing in between.
Rob says:
they have 3 towns out there, two south of DB and 4 in the jungle, which again shows a lack of tactical awareness from donsig

scoutsout says:
I still can't beliefe Donsig sent that stack of Pikes and one horse.
scoutsout says:
*believe
Rob says:
thats no better then what he did with us lol, i though he might have learnt some lessons, guess not
scoutsout says:
well... I felt bad for Simon in a chat later that day.
scoutsout says:
They were expecting us to have abandoned cities...and we were like... "um, you might want to check your team's e-mail...there's a bit of a battle log in there..."
Rob says:
i wish i could show you the screenshots of what they did.
scoutsout says:
You have no idea how badly I want to compare notes with you when this is over.
scoutsout says:
Ever hear of GK2?
Rob says:
i mean they expressly went to the effort of building a road through the jungle so they could launch there attack from there
Rob says:
GK2, no i haven't
scoutsout says:
Geez... let's telegraph our lateste move..
scoutsout says:
Anway...
Rob says:
then they went and told MIA they were lauching a big attack on us from an unexpected direction
scoutsout says:
LOL!
scoutsout says:
Oh wait... I need to let you in on some super secret TeamKISS stuph...
Rob says:
like we didn't notice the road being built at various stages
scoutsout says:
This is Tubby Rower's "PMP" smiley
scoutsout says:

Rob says:
hehe
scoutsout says:
I bet you guys have had a few laughs at TNT's expense...
scoutsout says:
We really should have let you know before we invaded 'em... we could've had a few good laughs together....
Rob says:
oh i the best of fun taunting donsig in the battle reports
scoutsout says:
hehehe....I hope you saved 'em in your forum.
Rob says:
they are
scoutsout says:
Awesome.
scoutsout says:
Do you want to know the funniest part of our TNT invasion?
scoutsout says:
Rik made Whomp send them ANOTHER declaration of War... because they didn't think that we'd really invaded 'em.
Rob says:
well to be honest they botched the war from day 1. At first i though donsig problems were due to provolutions planning but as it went on i realised it was donsig who had some how shall i put it , issues!
Rob says:
lol, now thats funny
Rob says:
did they not see the troops
scoutsout says:
We were like..."you're kidding, right? There's ...um... eight Gallic Swords next to an undefended beach front property... um, no, we're not kidding... We just invaded you."
Rob says:
maybe they though you were there just to look around lol
scoutsout says:
"recon by force" ?
Rob says:
if you guys can take out their iron they are finished, since they only have one connected
Rob says:
no iron, no pikes, no immos
scoutsout says:
That's why we're going for thier iron.
Whomp says:
horses is it right?
scoutsout says:
@ whomp: Can I tell Robi what I mustered for thier Iron city?
Whomp says:
sure
scoutsout says:
@Robi: You know how long Invention has been known, right?
Whomp says:
should we delay a bit to coordinate?
Rob says:
yes
scoutsout says:
hmmm...
scoutsout says:
I thought we just about had it coordinated...
Whomp says:
ok ok
scoutsout says:
@Robi: What do you guys need...
Rob says:
we can be ready in 5
scoutsout says:
lemme think...
scoutsout says:
ready in 5...
Rob says:
the other flank will be in 8 turns i think
scoutsout says:
We were going to "push" in ...what... 2 or 3?
scoutsout says:
...this is going to work out beautifully...
Whomp says:
we hit in 2 or 3...they hit 5 and 8
Whomp says:
and we send a stack when?
Whomp says:
6 or 7?
scoutsout says:
I'm thinking we send a stack in another turn or two...
scoutsout says:
... and push that stack inward another turn...
scoutsout says:
... and then the real fun begins.

Whomp says:

scoutsout says:
and we need to set this up so that Doughnut actually gets to CAPTURE a city. I'm getting tired of this "siege prevention auto-raze" defense...
scoutsout says:
SOMEBODY needs to actually CAPTURE a TNT city.
scoutsout says:
...and if it can't be us, it might as well be Doughnut.
Rob says:
well we can hit 2 at once before they would even have a chance
Rob says:
and don't worry, they can't auto raze forever
scoutsout says:

Whomp says:

scoutsout says:
Okay... so if we tell you that we're pushing our big stack forward... can you be ready to attack 2 turns after that?
Rob says:
should be, i'll pass the message on to kuningas to have everyone in position asap and to wait for the signal
scoutsout says:
...and bear in mind... you'll still have another turn to work with after "the signal"...
Rob says:
yep i will
scoutsout says:
Now...may we move on to the matter of these "runaway Greeks"?
Rob says:
yes
scoutsout says:
We haven't told them about the treaty we have with you...
scoutsout says:
we need to figure out a way to keep them on the sidelines in this one.
Rob says:
they know we have something going on, they noticed that we have swapped techs. When they asked us about it, we figured why lie, they can see it, so we said yes that we had arranged a tech deal, however they don't know about any of the other details
scoutsout says:
Nice.
scoutsout says:
...so ... I wonder how they'd react if they knew the "other details"... and learned those other details from us...
scoutsout says:
@Whomp: Don't fall asleep.
Whomp says:
i'm not
Whomp says:
i posted to chox
Rob says:
how do you mean
Whomp says:
they've been sabre rattling with you guys
scoutsout says:
Have they been "rattling sabers" at you guys?
Whomp says:
from what killercane said
Rob says:
sorry brb in 5
scoutsout says:
We're going off "bits and pieces" here...
Rob says:
sorry about that, i'm back
scoutsout says:
cool.
scoutsout says:
I'm still here.
Whomp says:
still here
Rob says:
they haven't been sabre rattling as such, just being a pain in the neck thats all
Whomp says:
but they won't sign peace with you unless you give something
Rob says:
we offered a non-aggression treaty, they also want a tech arrangement, we told them we already have obligations with you guys and can't do that, then they had a go at us for helping put you in a winning position, and then i told them it was there own fault and so on and so on....
Whomp says:
they chose their partner
scoutsout says:
Hmm...
scoutsout says:
what sort of tech arrangement do they want?
Rob says:
well i pointed out to them in no uncertain terms had they not "gifted" tnt techs, then we would not have need to do a tech deal with you guys and that tnt would not have been around for you guys to attack in the first place
Whomp says:
scout do you think there's a win win for Donuts and us?
Rob says:
i not sure, we never got into that much detail about the tech swaps, because we said no
Whomp says:
maybe have mia focus on the upper half?
scoutsout says:
Whomp: I think we're on the asame sheet of music... you're singin' the baritone part.
Rob says:
from what i understand you have a long term treaty with them
scoutsout says:
We have a long term treaty with them...
scoutsout says:
I think whomp might have something interesting in his mind...
Rob says:
the best part of the argument is they expect us to stop you from grinding tnt into the dust
Whomp says:
because it's crushing their research indirectly
Whomp says:
and I have a feeling TNT is getting some WW.
Rob says:
i said to them with what? you have double the troops we have, why don't you go up to tnt. and their excuse was...
scoutsout says:
I have a feeling that losing that stack brought the WW pain on them...
Rob says:
it too far
Whomp says:
we should have Donut investigate banana on our dime
scoutsout says:
MIA is fully prepared for a spaceshot... and wishing they had more slingshots...
scoutsout says:
How much would that cost?
Whomp says:
don't know but it would be worthwhile for a few reasons
Rob says:
you would need to arrange that with kuningas
scoutsout says:
That question was for Robi.
Whomp says:
we'd need to send you cash some maybe have him check this turn
Whomp says:
should i pm him?

Rob says:
i'd have to check the save, but i think it would be around 60 gold maybe
Rob says:
yes, pm him so he knows what to do
Rob says:
i check the save to give you an ammount, brb
Whomp says:
k
scoutsout says:
PM sent to Kuningas.
scoutsout says:
copy to both of you.
Whomp says:
ok
Rob says:
it costs 52g for embassy
scoutsout says:
so...we buy you an embassy, and you'll share some intel?
Rob says:
yes
Whomp says:
they're so screwed
scoutsout says:
@Whomp: Done deal?
Rob says:
i will also post about this talk so the team knows whats go
Whomp says:
ok good

Rob says:
*going on
scoutsout says:
shoot... download the whole chat and post it if you want to...
Rob says:
i will
scoutsout says:
though much of it will bore them to tears I'm sure...
Rob says:
just edit the irrelavent bits out so its not to long
scoutsout says:
Are you gonna post the whole chat?
scoutsout says:
Can I say this: @Team Doughnut: We're gonna :hammer: TNT!!!!
scoutsout says:
Can I say that?
Rob says:
if i was going to bet on what we will find in DB i would say 1 pike and a library
scoutsout says:
Well... we DID retreat one pike... so don't be too shocked if they've got 2 pike and an Immortal in DB....
Rob says:
not if i know donsig
Rob says:
he'll have them on the frontline
Whomp says:
lux rate will be interesting to se
scoutsout says:
well... last time I checked.... WE were their front line...and I saw squat...
Whomp says:
see
scoutsout says:
Lux at 100% and a scientist working on Music Theory...
Rob says:
hehe
Whomp says:
lux at 0% but 4 clowns
scoutsout says:
I'm tellin' you. They're gonna go for a 20k cultural victory in Semtex with Bach's next to the Big Box with the Dead Guy Inside....
Rob says:
no clowns, no lux, 100% tax, building temple
Whomp says:

Rob says:
or maybe colloseum
scoutsout says:
Not even Dinsog is that stupid.... I hope...
Whomp says:
question is who is he going to refugee with? LOL

Rob says:
no actually he would be silly enough to be building an immortal for a counter attack
scoutsout says:
Dinsog is a builder. He'll go to MIA.
scoutsout says:
Last time I checked, they still had 5 Immortals. He'll be building a pike to fortify one tile away from the immortals.
Rob says:
man they were so sure there immoratal would wipe us off the map lol. even after we took a couple out they kept sending them
scoutsout says:
I need to find you a quote from me...
scoutsout says:
hang on...
scoutsout says:
@Rob: Here's a quote right out of my log: "TNT has advanced troops on Spite. Eight Pikemen and a horse. That's the dangdest excuse for a Stack o' Doom I think I've ever seen. What are they gonna do with THAT? "
scoutsout says:
@Rob: I don't know if you're still there... but I really have enjoyed chatting with you tonight...

Well done Scout & Whomp. That will set us up very nicely. A three prong attack should have TNT on the ropes within... two turns max. Any bets on how many autorazes we see?

Here's the latest communique between Kuningas and me... with a copy to G-man.

@G-man - I don't know if you picked it out of all the spam in the chat we had... but 'nuts don't have an embassy w/ TNT. If we pay the 52g it takes for them to establish one, they'll share the intel on the city's garrison.

I say we round it up a notch to 60g, as a token of goodwill...and to cover any additional shillings it might cost.

President Kuningas,

Thank you for passing that along. I am sending a copy of this note to our current turnplayer as a reminder. We look forward to the collaborating with Team Doughnut in the upcoming campaigns.

Should we meet in Semtex, we think it would be great if you bring the doughnuts, and we'll bring the coffee. Otherwise, the last army to Dancing Banana buys the beer. :)

Warmest regards,
scoutsout

P.S. Please pass along my best regards to killercane and Robi D.

Kuningas,

What would it cost for you to investigate Dancing Banana?

Best regards,
scout

That is so interesting. We need to make sure that MIA knows that any aggression against Donuts breaks our peace.

I bet they already have that in mind. Does reminding them clue them into the content of the communications w/ Killercane?

Does this make sense or am I getting the different players mixed up? Or does it just not make sense? :)

I have to agree with jb. If we remind MIA of the reality that aggression against donuts it bespeaks of triangulation at best, cooporation at worst. I say mum until/if MIA starts moving aggressively, then who knows - we may be able to sucker them into an attack on MIA and then sweep in like Meleet's own vengence.

At any rate, I say be coy about reminding them of the military consequences.

Booti, we are going to make you into a Grumpy yet. That is perfect thinking.

Is sounds wise, but could I have that stated in a fashion suited for an Idiot. I was very vague about our military alliance w Nut's when I spoke to Fe saying we "have peace at the moment". The reason for this was (my guessing) that MIA might be tempted to attack Nut's if they know we will have to declare on them, i.e. we break the 1000 monkey's treaty instead of them, and they get a chance to hit us when we have our hands full elsewhere.
Please confirm if this is what KB's post is about, and if not, explain the difference so I can adjust my conversations w Fe.......thank you :goodjob:

Edit: This has been sent to Homer of the Nut's
Greetings Galore

We have spotted an MIA galley on the northern shores. It is located so that our ship movements are being obstructed, i.e. the damn Greeks are in the way. This might lead to some small adjustments regarding the coordinated attack that we are planning. Please contact scoutsout or Grahamiam to discuss this.
We would also like to inform you that some disinformation has been sent to MIA. In short we have stated that Nut's and KISS are trading techs piece by piece and that KISS has no obligations to continue this. We have said you are fair in trading, but that we had a better deal with MIA. We have not said anything about our military alliance, only that we have peace "for now". Also that we are surprised that Doughnut's haven't siezed the opportunity to join the war and gain some land. Finally we are implying that the KISS camp is in deep trouble, hence the change of POTKISS, but that is just smoke and mirrors.
Hopefully MIA will turn to you for a tech agreement and we can have them research the upper tree for us, while KISS/Nut's share the lower part. Whomp and Bede has an idea on this that they would like to share.

All the Best

POTKISS, sorta...

Sorry Dag, I reread my post and the english even confused me.

What I meant to say is that we should avoid any mention of military cooporation with the Nuts when speaking to MIA.

I know that MIA's refusal to sign a peace treaty with the Nust is frustrating them and somewhat worriesome (Hmm. I wonder why they are shy about signing long-term peace deals when an invasion seems immanent :mischief: It seems the Greeks are learning).

I know it was commented that mention of our agreement with the Nuts may prevent any Greek attack on the Iriqois.

My thought is to NOT mention our agreement with the Nuts at all. If/when the Greeks make moves as though they are going to attack the Nuts we may want to make a discouraging comment or two (especially if Dag is still POTKISS - he's a builder after all :ar15: ). Then, IF they do make a major commitment of troops to invade the Nuts - hit them hard.

Toward this end, when we start operation Pimple Popper (our coordinated attack with the Nuts) I could write some flaming criticism of the Nuts in the Crazy Eye - just for disinformation mind you. I bring it up for condisideration and so that somebody could mention it to the Nuts before hand.

Weewho!!! We have more war!

Hi guys,

Just wanted to update up on the coming turn. After establishing an embassy, we took the oppertunity to have a bit of a poke around and found that the jungle cities were virtually unguarded but they had some pikes on the way to reenforce them (i guess they noticed our troop build up) so we have declered war this turn. And everything went to plan both cities attacked are under our control without the loss of any units on our side. Also a third city is under siege which we are confident of taking next turn (unless they raze it themselves). While not exactly as we planned in my talk with you scout and Whomp we felt there was a window of oppertunity to take the cities without challenge. I still believe this can work to your benifit as it will move troops away from their coast and centre towards the jungle.

As far as the capital goes (i think kuningas has sent the full rundown) i was pretty close in my guess. It should make you guys happy to find no ones home, it means if you can break their frontline you will rip through them in a few turns.
All the best
Robi D, acting Foreign Minister

Can I get a recap of who's fighting whom?
