I know. I was depressed, but now I'm normal. Because I don't wanted to work on civilopedia, I'm started work with citizens, replacindg them to normal faces. So first question: where you get so high resolution pictures? And second: who gets Loxley and Nicole citizens

Flamand would have to let you know with that one.

IIRC, the European culture group gets them. I think. :D

OK. Anyway, I've already changed buttons, so I could upload both. About membership, I dont know. Could I try, and if don't like, leave

Nah, don't worry about membership then. We want folks who will stay. :)

Well, just adding a throught about Mutie slaves and upgrading to mutant military units (didn't found a better place to post them):

The Mutie slaves, as I see them, are humans from armies, caravans and such, that where captured by the Unity. After being captured, they where dipped in the vats. The Mutie Slaves, as the unit themselves, are newmutants, so they mutations are develloping.

Think about the slaves the Enclave used in FO2 to find FEV in Mariposa. They're slower on work because they still try to get the hang of a changed body and even a changed mind.

They can upgraded to military units. The way I see it, the mutie slaves, after having they bodies more stable, are selected. These mutants, then, have doctrinary (I think that's the right word), military and mental training to join the unity. After that, they are mutant soldiers, ready to kill and die in the name of the unity dream of equality.

Something like this would be interesting in the civilopedia.

Some other suggestions:

BOS: The way I know the BOS, they're a ellitist organization, so they don't expand much and don't get much recruits. But, the way I see then, they got some pretty good hardware, and will recruit IF needed. So, what about giving to the BOS a "Recruiter" unit as settler. It should use more people, but be EXCELLENT soldiers, and the hability to enslave. Besides, BOS should have pretty good scientists and something SPECIAL that would make better soldiers better than more soldiers, if you know what I mean.

NCR: NCR is ok. Expand fast like cockroaches. Something more about culture anexations for them would be interesting, kinda like NCR-style.

Enclave: What about giving then a Vertibird unit from the start? Not a full-strenght vertibird, of couse, but, what about a prototype? Would add a interesting twist to the game.

Unity: What about the Unity producing Floaters and Centaurs as units? Enclave have the Deathclaws, and that's all right and cool (I like then... on my side, of course), but what about unity with Floaters and Centaurs? The Master's Vault had some of then, the mutant patrols tagged along Centaurs and Floaters. Same thing to the Remants of the Master Army of FO2.
Could add quite a interesting edge to the unity.

Robots: What a Eyebot serves for?

Children of Set: Looks cool, need to play with them.

Vaults - What about some kind of bonus about food, or something related to a G.E.C.K? Bessides, they should get a NICE start, don't they?

General - What about adding a building that each 20 turns spawn a TOTALLY RANDOM unit? I mean, RANDOM! Say... Like something called "Weapon Salvagers" or even "Gun Runners" (I liked that). It would represent the scavenging of weapons and armor after the war, and that building would apear early (but not too early). A Example: You're the Children of Set, and you're fighting NCR. You both are on a stalemate of Milita Troops and some rifle infantry. Then one your gunrunners spawn a Early Power Armor, and other spawns a leather flamethower. Yeah, the ideia is quite weird, but it can add a interesting randomness in the game. What do you think?

Yes, but on google you coldn't find animation, so I was forced (when was changing faces) use low resolution. Anyway, other two questions. First, thor you get my images (I've just send them, but wonders happend:) ). And second, that I always forgot to ask: Why my ideas aren't used in mod?

UPGRADE: Post service just informed me, that guy that maked picture, that I reccomend to use for fortification isnt using that adress. Becose it nowhere says, where I could contact him, so I think you could use this picture for mod.

UNITY:
That is why they upgrade into mutant melee units. ;) Have you read the race description when you pick your civ yet? IIRC it covers all what you suggest, I think.

B.O.S.:
They are one of only two civs who really have a chance to stop the Bots if they get going. They have a LOT of good gear.
Gotta find a good unit that could pass for a 'Brotherhood Recruiter'. When Navy Dawg gets the Advanced PA done, I know just the one. Make a post with this suggestion in the tester's forum on the to do list.
They are scientific from the get go, so get free techs. And as of now, Only the Bots, BOS, Enclave and Unity get barracks, to represent their 'militaristic' bend.

N.C.R.:
Culture flipping is active now, so it could happen.

UNITY:
I wish I could have them in, but unless somebody makes the units I can't add them.

E.O.T.C.:
They are an upgrade to the Scoutbot. Can't think of any other use.

VAULT DWELLERS:
Thier settlers already cost one less pop to build. That is a huge bonus right there. They only need size three cities to make Vault Citizens where the others need size four cities to make settlers. But I was thinking of implementing a small wonder that spits out a settler evey x amount of turns for each player civ.

GENERAL:
Unfortunately the unit allocated to a building is specific. It can't be random. It is a nice idea though, shame we can't use it.

Keep the good ideas flowing though. :D

And what about me.

I can't use those gfx, I appreciate your efforts but the ones in already are of better quality. As for the text items, they will get worked on last. :)

No, I'm mean all those ideas, that i wrote before (buildings, units, wonders, etc.)

Thor do you still have those sprites you mentioned? Perhaps some of the Initiates can help converting some of the more exotic cuties... ;)

I will have to unpack FO:T to get them, so it may be a while. But which ones were you referring to?

@(O)ndatra, you will have to repost them here is the suggestions thread. They are scattered over half a dozen threads. :D

Which ones do you have available? All of the Tactics units?

Yup, even the ones not included in the game one was previewed on Flamescreen's wasteland thread.

The Brotherhood Elder would make a damn good science leader IMO.

Can you post the process of converting those sprites somewhere? There is a whole bunch of units in there that would more than welcome... ;)

The problem with that is the man who converted the sprites disappeared about two years ago and has never been heard from again. So I have no idea how he did it. All I know is that he used the program called spr2gif, which is dos based, to convert them, then he had to fiddle with it quite a bit to get the colors working again.

It is a damn shame CDG went down, I had posted some of the original conversions and they were almost devoid of color. :( So how he got the color back I don't know, but Bhiita, who still frequents these boards, was helping him. Maybe he still remembers how, but I would not count on it, it being so long ago.

And yup, I originally had planned for all the mutie and ghoul units coming from tactics, along with some specialized units like the BOS elder and scribes and such.

I have all the sprites unpacked, and I guess I will give it a shot. Don't hold your breath though. :D
