So, its been more than 2 years since I last took a look around for one of these, but from the two I partook in they were always a blast to read.

So my question is simple, have any good ones gone on in that time, and are there any going on now?

From the lack of response, it looks like there hasn't. I'd be interested if another one does get started.

I was the player in one of these a few years ago (one of the last, I think...). I would be willing to give it another shot, as I did have fun during the beginning of the last one.

If you want a more writing intensive Divine Intervention, I have some ideas for a new game as a player. If not, it could be fun to play as a god.

Yes! That was the one where I played as Junil. I'm not sure if you ever read the god's thread.

I tried to create a gateway to hell in your world. That got shot down pretty quickly though.

Another one would be fun, and I'd definitely would be interested in having a part. It just seems that judging from the number of posts around here, it doesn't seem to have to same player-base as it once did to get a full game going.

Well then. I think I will make a new DI game as the Kuriotates, unless anyone objects. I have an interesting mechanic I want to try.

I'd also like to play using Magister's Mod. It adds a lot of interesting mechanics and options while still keeping the game close to the original (no new factions, for example).

I'd like to try Esus.
I'll gladly help with the provision of disciples for all the other Gods (at least that's what they'd claim).

Wait, that thing of mythical legend actually came into existance? I can't believe I missed that!

I guess I'll have to try picking up the mechanics.

I would love to join in.

I know Lplate posted earlier, but I'm glad other people are stepping up!

What's a Divine Intervention game?

That sounds awesome. I'd like to play Dagda if we get things going. I will keep balance between the feuding gods.

there were ... 2 mods from magister :D
the current one is based on the AI and modmod of Tholal.
but there was one other last year :D
so you missed 2 magistermodmod .... ^^

Good luck with that. Balance is probably the most difficult role.

Here's an option for a Divine Intervention game; it's actually set in the false Erebus of Esus's Vault. All the Gods are merely Esus doing his bit to convince the player's characters that they're in the real Erebus still, apart from Sirona and a couple of others who are trying to free the damned.

Obviously we shouldn't do that this time, it's more an option for DI5 or DI6.

Where can I take a look at the changes from Magister's mod?

That is a very interesting idea, though would that mean you only need two people as gods?

Also, would it be possible to do a multiplayer divine intervention game? Two players could use opposed civs, like the elves or sheaim/malakim. It would make for a more interesting story than a single player but would require more coordination.

The more players, the more interesting ideas, the better the story/game. It would be the same Gods being played by as many players but Esus would be applying bias instead of Dagda applying balance.

Actually, I just threw it out there because I thought it's never too early in the Season for Esus to plant seeds of doubt.

I would have dibs on Sirona, but I'm iffy about having to download/edit saves manually. In Veridian's DI before it declined, someone offered to edit the map for me instead when I offered to play. Can that be a possibility in the next DI? Also, what Civ shall the player use?

I'd join up as Mammon. Also second Empedocles idea for a two player game of Divine Intervention--that way the evil vs good dynamics can play out..well...dynamically
