DLC GMR game anyone?

They will become a threat if they get those mechine killers ready. You know which unit, right?

Catapult, no? Not to mention the Turtle Boats, which might even be worse than frigates for coastal cities...wait, for a second I thought they replaced triremes...but it's caravels, isn't it.

In my experience, Tabarnak always possesses a threat. ;)

Trebuchet. You have time...theoretically. Unless Tabarnak says "screw Korea, CHAAARGE"...

If we are talking about those pesky rocket launchers then thats fine. My highly drunken raiders are suprisingly fast. Ragnar, my best warrior and closest body guard is so fast and so drunk you dont even see him when he charges on you. If you are lucky you might smell him first. Last time I saw him take a bath was when the men threw him off the longboat for smelling worse than the fish.

:) :goodjob:

Epic. Ragnar is the best! :king:

EEE_Boy, our scouts have sighted the borders of Babylon. It appears our cities are close neighbours. In the Incan system of reckoning distance, your capital seems to be a mere eight tiles from ours; thus only six tiles lie between our current borders.

We will need to negotiate settlement options once more of the nearby land is known. If one of us is greedy and claims the land directly between us, it will surely lead to the horrors of war being unleashed on this beautiful land, and on our childlike peoples.

From which direction? Nebby has two cities in mind right now. The cotton valley city, and the old faithful city. guess the old faithful, cos Nebby can see mountains over there

We are to your WNW...there is some cotton there, past the wine, but it would be in the fourth ring from your capital.

We are also in need of some fresh water.

Inca can take the wine. Nebby has no need of extra. Nebby wanted to settle on one of the cottons, perhaps we can move 1 tile south to the hill to claim 1 cotton in the first ring. Would that make room for Inca's wine city? Giving away the cotton valley will expose our capital. Besides, Babylon scout just pop some culture. So we need to negotiate quickly

Maybe 1 tile East can also work, leaving the cotton in the 2nd ring and another in the 3rd ring. Need to get into the game to confirm

I'll try to remember to take a picture next time I play. I'm not sure we're talking about the same area.

Hello Denmark. Those ruins look interesting let us know what you find. I would say we are unlucky not to explore those first but Spain has gotten rich from discovering a fiery mountain in the sea. :gold::c5gold::c5science::c5happy:

Buy you some new settler or fund your future upgrade?:mischief:

A sudden baby boom has occured in Copenhagen and the population took an extra leap. This is a great opportunity for the danish people to get new young strong men and women out on the fields and in our smiths and factories.
Unfortunally the danish mystics are not as optimistic. They do not belive that a city with so many young parents can take care of their children and make them into honourable and productive workers. Most danes are convinced that the only reason the mystics are so moody is because they do not drink and therefor did not attend any of the festivities that made this baby boom possible.

(I got extra pop in cap.)

That's a nice bump, (2 pop in a turn)!

Doubtless the forgotten children of this young generation will be ill looked-after, thus growing up to be scallywags and ne'er-do-wells, who will naturally turn to ship board life for some sense of belonging, and vent their pain of the unloved against foreign shores and their unsuspecting peoples, taking what they feel they deserve!

Here is what we know of the lands between us, Nebuchandezzar, showing our respective borders.

The red line must not be settled beyond without some prior agreement, or this will be viewed as an act of war. Currently, most of our other land lies in the fog, except to our south (your west). Thus, the yellow line is a very tentative suggested restriction for you, which will allow us to settle a city to our south. Of course, we would be willing to give something in exchange.

However, at this time, until our scouts can reveal our surroundings and settlement prospects in other directions, we can't yet make deals which may last for all time. Perhaps you can focus your initial settlement in another direction?

We look forward to working with you on this issue. :)

We are honourable warriors and merchants. That you stand here and tell everyone that we cannot take care of our children is a great insult. We will not sit idly by and have you spreading lies about us.
If I were in your shoes I would choose my words carefully from now on. We do not forgive easily.

Nebby has no intention to go that direction. :king:The cotton valley and Old faithful cities to the north and west of capital respectively are better city sites for us. Inca leader can be sure of that.

Edit: East

However, in exchange for good faith, Inca should only settle beyond the lines drawn by your hard working surveyors, if the land around Inca capital elsewhere can't sustain 3 more cities.

Playing my turns now

:D: Danish people should not get insulted that easily or that EARLY. By any means, Inca is at their best age for aggression if their leader choose to. So does Babylon. T:lol:he time for Danish to speak louder will come.

We were thinking Ragnar might be the typical Viking father.

Our apologies to your more respectable citizens. We will send you some llama and alpaca wool jumpers as soon as possible.

Glad to hear it, though you must mean east, not west. :)

We will try to work within those constraints, and will first seek your counsel if we feel the need to move beyond them.

I am the mighty Harald Blåtand! I do not fear no silly featherheaded mountain men or ancient bearded men that will sooner or later be conquered by a bisexual macedonian.

These gifts you talk of, great feathered man with sharp stone on stick. They look intriguing. I will speak with my advisors and merchant contacts. If there is a market for these products we will be happy to trade instead of pillage. My warriors love a fight but a drawn out war is not something we like. It is hard to keep our warriors focused on battles when its a new battle behind every corner. Not to mention the cost of transporting Carlsberg to the end of the world.
