DLC GMR game anyone?

Glad to hear it, though you must mean east, not west. :)

We will try to work within those constraints, and will first seek your counsel if we feel the need to move beyond them.

Closer look at Inca territory, even Babylon empire has more mountains than the Inca. What's wrong with RNG?

Babylon will settle a 4th city down the mountain south of our capital for a harbor city.

The Inca don't have a start bias to mountains. Which is sad. Instead they have one for hills, which may or may not be near mountains. So it is certainly possible that you have more mountains than they do.

The most annoying thing is that hills often have SHEEP on them, which means you can't build your terrace farm anyway! SO ANNOYING!!!

It's ok if the hill is one has only 1 tile of mountain next to it or next to a river. More than 1 tile of mountain is a waste.

With one tile of mountain, its an early game +2 food. That's excellent, especially since food is good early and you can't get +2 improvements (besides farms on rivers) until late game!

I never build Terrace Farms on hills with no adjacent mountains.

They're not available too early...not till engineering or at least construction.

Enabled by construction. The strategy may be allowing inca to go the bottom part of the tree so they get UI improvement while beelining for Crossbow and grabbing GW for further defense/offense capability.

The slinger's promotion is fearsome when equipped by crossbows.

Oh no kidding, I had not considered that ability persisting beyond upgrades, that does sound pretty serious. Thanks for the tip.

Its even scarier on Riflemen lol

And I think the construction unlock allows them to get it at the same time as colloseums for the happiness to couple the food if you want it to.

Oh well, looks like none of the other merchants have found Great France yet :(

This is probably a good thing. I already feel crowded. I see the borders of another civ on the horizon. What map are we on? I havent paid attention to the loading screen.

Having space to expand without crossing your neighbor's border is good, But France is more of a traditionalist nation so I won't expand THAT much anyway :king:

Woah, Tradition on France? Unheard of! One of their strongest beliefs is in Liberty! And sometimes Honor!

This is not Sparta, stop this madness.

That why I always try to play different from the others haha, full of surprises :D

Thats the way to do it!

I dont really play to win. Sure, I see what I get and build a strategy around it, but I couldnt care less if spain and korea team up to get rid of me when I pillage their coastal cities to much. ^^

Just found the korean borders. Shall be interesting to see how the land between us gets divided. Just be warned. Diplomacy is not one of Haralds stronger traits.

Ooh, looks like this will be fun. As Denmark I like to declare war and just pillage everything. Then I either leave (having acquired a lot of money) or I burn down their cities.

I've never tried amphibious assaults with them. In fact, I think I've only ever done two landings ever. I'm sure Denmark can do well disembarking, raiding, and re-embarking on the same turn. Just bring a strong navy lol

Yeah, I'm like that too. Sure, winning is great, but I recognise that civ isn't exactly fair--like the real world! So it's the stories that develop that I enjoy the most.

Oh dear, the dans are just inviting to be invaded. Even international propoganda can't save you this time. Be prepared. Death rain will come from North K.

Heh, I never thought of Tabarnak playing North Korea...but it fits! :)

Seriously? It's only turn 5 or 6. I'm ready anytime!
