DLC GMR game anyone?

I think it said in patch notes that it only worked on new games, not already existing.

And why waste a perfectly good army that already have momentum up. You should've expected this, E. But then again, being paranoid and all, I'm sure you did.

So the peaceful continent is ravaged by war and the continent with warmongers are thriving in peace. I think its the ballance of terror. Nobody dares make a move unless they're sure it will work.

Nebby has semi-prepared and Babylon's tech rate should ensure his ultimate victory.

You said the other continent are thriving in peace? Don't make me laugh when Tab DOWs you next turn:smug:

Pachacuti is doing our continent, and the world, a favor. Ultimate victory is irrelevant. All that matters is that Nebby pays for his irrational arrogance and genocidal intent.

SCANDALOUS!

In the meantime, I'll just go meet all these peaceful people and trade with them.

I'll see who's losing the war and if its dire enough I'll see what I can do. :)

Ok, how the hell did my worker automate itself? I certainly didn't do that. I never even tell them to move more than 1 turn at a time, and this time the worker moved to a random tile, started building a trading post, and moved back, even though I checked it every turn and it had always just moved to the tile I told it to. I assumed that was because I had forgotten what I was doing, but no apparently it was automated

So I just lost 4 turns on that improvement I was building. Felt like complaining to somebody. That's the one thing I don't like about GMR games, since there is so much downtime between turns I totally forget what I was doing. Though nothing this atrocious should ever happen, I don't even remember where the automate button is because I never use it! So how did the worker get automated?! :(

Do you use a password? Past experience indicated the final character entered in the password field could become a game command on that turn.

The shift button on your keyboard can do this too(creating the problem yourself when entering your password just before a turn).

Wow, thats a sucky bug. Yeah I suppose its possible. Well now I'll just have to check EVERY unit EVERY turn and EVERY city. I did already, but now I'll have to triple check.

Think of GMR games as extreme ways of practising your micro then you won't feel bad checking everything:)

One thing that I recall is aqueduct: after building it, extra food won't carry over, so if micro correctly, it will net quite few hammers on the turn of population growth.

I need to write a capital letter for my password and i always use the capslock button instead. I don't hold it...i press it 1 time, press the letter than disable it one time. If i don't do this, a unit may auto-move somewhere randomly.

I found this bug pretty early so it happened only twice in the beginning.

To the Mighty Inca Emperor:
What's the price for a peace treaty?
Your forces just parked there and it's expensive to do that, let Nebby help you with the costs and restore order in our continent.

Did you know that because GMR uses magic encryption dust, even if you don't set a password on your turns, other players still can't access your turn, even if they somehow have the save at that point? In short, the password has become unnecessary, so leaving it blank is an easy way to avoid the bug.

He completely ignored you lol.

The message is being carried by hand. :borg:

Really? I knew I had a lot of units, but I knew you would defend well, too. But when there's so many targets, what can you do?

I also knew I had to get to you before xbows and/or knights, or you'd be untouchable. Too much like Egypt in Speed--no, not again! :whew:

Let's see if walls of Babylon can help here. Also Babylon bowman seems to have very high military value. Only a few and we are about 2/3 of your military strength.

It's literally a yellow carpet of doom. I should take a screenshot next turn an post it when I lost my capital.

There's actually a few units you can't see yet. There was no room.
