560 AD. GG builds military academy at shell town, combined with heroic epic will be anice military pump.
Luffy: Whats happened with those ships we sent out to find a way to the Grand Line, any progress.
Sanji: Well they havent found anything spectacular yet but they have put their heads together and decided the world is round.
And we finished writing down all those rules you gave us . Finished the Constitution and are busy looking at how we can make dome dosh from all this spare food if we get organised.
Start research on Corporations.. Seems with all our GPs and Spare resources it would be wrong not to try playing with corporations?

Well yes some of the guys reminded me we were actually Pirates and not having a few skull and crossbones ships out was just plain wrong. They are not as cool as Ships of the Line etc but they should be obligatory in a Pirate game
600AD. We finish corporations and the Taj Mahal. And start the long job of ferrying troops as its quite a maze this map.. more hidden surprises yet to be uncovered?
660 AD. Democracy comes and we start on Steam Power.
In a normal game this Random Event might have meant something but really cant see the point in our game?
700AD. This is a nice round number and a small amry has been settled ready to start work on. President Mr O if the next player desires.
It seems worth starting a second front to the East versus Buggy this set once we have assembled some troops and a couple of ships?
Note Great People are fortified in our capital. Normally a no no but we have a hatful of them, enjoy.

Well, all the screenshots I took really don't fit into the story line. Somehow, I thought tech shots and ruined cities would fit in . . .
anyway, we DID finish of Mr O; i razed all the cities there. Also, as i said, we declared on Buggy. He had the highest power rating of everyone left, and it's still a cakewalk. I have amassed a smallish army there, with some more being produced on teh home continent. I also razed Gaziantep,and took 1 city (NW of Gaz):
I upgraded all galleons to transports as we got combustion, assembly, and are heading for Industrialism.
All i built were units. We're at 0% sci and Fuschia is powering us along. I merged all those Great People there; didn't see much use for them to hang around so . . . normally i wouldn't do that, but this game is HARDLY normal.
I also i'm producing solely units. We really don't need many infra builds, so i figure let's take the fight to the world ASAP! All the cities on teh home continent have waypoints for the EAST but should be redirected soonish so that we can prepare to head west again with them.
Im, did you handicap the AI in any way? I find it odd that they still only have archers this late in the game.

I've finished my turns. Played 12 and brought us to a round number again. The game definitely draws to an end... I will report tonight.

First of all I gotta apologize for the delay. I did plan to play this on Friday evening but totally missed that there was a hockey game of my local club I had to go to. Anyway, they won, so it was not wasted time . Since then I'm trying to catch up, but now I'm finished. As said, I played 12 turns to bring us to 180 total. As I see it the game will go on for 2 turnsets at best, we're very close to achieving the victory and meeting the variant condition.
We got another Great General. I was too lazy to ship him up north so he's still there - it doesn't matter if we have Infantry with 2 more XP if all they face is Longbows and Maces...
We had a fair amount of events that round. The Federal Bank especially was cool, though we didn't need it economically.
We captured a whole bunch of cities, as expected. Buggy the Clown will not withstand much longer.

I'm still surprised the AI is so backwards in tech. I didn't tune down their starts, and they had pretty much land to settle - so I'm not sure why they put up such a poor performance in this game...

. Since then I'm trying to catch up, but now I'm finished. As said, I played 12 turns to bring us to 180 total. As I see it the game will go on for 2 turnsets at best, we're very close to achieving the victory and meeting the variant condition.We got another Great General. I was too lazy to ship him up north so he's still there - it doesn't matter if we have Infantry with 2 more XP if all they face is Longbows and Maces...
We had a fair amount of events that round. The Federal Bank especially was cool, though we didn't need it economically.
We captured a whole bunch of cities, as expected. Buggy the Clown will not withstand much longer.
