Hey, if you find one, let me know - I don't even really know which "side" I'm on in foreign policy. I just have my own personal views.

I found a test once that did have some foreign policy-related questions (more than the one or two that "The" political compass test has), that as I recall measured foreign policy as a question of geopolitical idealism versus pragmatism, where I heavily erred towards pragmatism. I don't recall the rest of the material on the test being at all revolutionary, though.

I don't know if there are really any "perfect" political compass-type tests available, though I do know there are ones that are better than the standard.

I am aware. Yet the simple definitions are thrown around with abandon around here; Left, Right, Conservative, Liberal, Socialist. And while a good many people on this forum self-identifies as "independent" or some variant thereof, many of them still consistently jump on the same Right or Left bandwagons in discussions, often adopting positions which seems at odds with their own personal views to be consistent with the view of the group they support.

I don't like putting political labels on myself because there isn't one single political group that I'd ever want to be a member of (mostly because there isn't one that lines up with my ever-changing views well enough)
