I so want a tattoo! I want a Ramboed up pink poodle cartoon on my back and I think it'll look cool!

Oops...should have voted for the fourth option. I do not have one, and certainly do not want one...

(if a mod reads this, would you please subtract one from the third option and move it down to the fourth?)

I think that drawings and funky ornamental work looks silly on skin. It looks silly enough on a t-shirt.

Clean, purposeful accents, on the other hand, when done to compliment the human form, may enhance the overall appearance, as in Berber facial tattoo work, or more commonly, eyeglass frames or racing stripes.

I have five.

Got them when I was 18.

I was smart enough to not tatto my lower arms though.
You only see them if I wear a short sleeve.

Con: Permanent. Not "respectable" in certain circles.

Pro: The girls like them. :D

Tattoos are absolutely pointless. They ruin your skin so that you can have some ugly drawing on it. If you want a tattoo, then at the very least just get a temporary one.

I dont have a Tattoo but I dont mind seeing them on other people.

Don't have one, but I understand them as an artistic effort to define identity. Jenny has one: a little ivy wrap around her ankle. Kinda sexy, I think.

Myself: I don't have one, don't really want one. OTOH, I have two factors which make tattoos redundant.
1.) I've already got so many scars on me that I need another mark like a [new] hole in the head. None of the scars are intentional (self-mutilation kinda weirds me out), I've just lived a lot of life and endured a lot of injuries.
2.) I used to lift. I was a gym rat for about fifteen years. It may not be ink, but it was a conscious effort to modify the appearance of my body. Can't hide that underneath long sleeves or a high collar. You have to deal with a completely different set of pre-judgments, some convenient, some sad.

But I guess if I had to get a tattoo, I'd put my blood type and the words "organ donor" on the underside of my wrist (under my watch band).

I don't understand the second choice, "I dont have a tatoo but i think it looks nice".

How can I think my tatoo looks nice if I don't have one?

BTW, I don't have one, but I don't mind tatoos on other people as long as they're tasteful and not too inordinately big.

Some tatoos are really cool! :) I don't reject them at all. But I still find it dumb to take one, because it leaves a mark for the rest of your life.

Many people get tattoos for the wrong reasons.

I have one, it is large, and on my arm...
It is an ancient symbol to show my alliegance to Thor god of thunder.

Where's the "I don't have one and I think they're bloody stupid." option? :p

Yay, I'm in Hitro and Switch's gang :crazyeye:
