Do you like or hate Izzy?

Ataxerxes gave me this idea, so yeah...

Personally, I hate her soooo much, since I'm not underhanded enough to kill her once she spreads the religion. I don't know why, I just never feel like it. Or never start by her. Hmm...

I like her, somewhat. She's a pretty mediocre AI. Doesn't expand that fast or build so many units. Theocracy as favorite civic is decent, but not great either since I prefer to run organized religion or pacifism. Her love for religion makes her easy to get to friendly which makes up for her being an averse tech trader. She does declare at pleased, moderate unit build doesn't make her a big threat, and again she's rather easy to get to friendly. The missionary spam is nice and also makes her a nice war target once the shrine is built.

Pretty good summary of why I like her, although I don't use Theocracy much. Her declaring at pleased isn't a problem because she doesn't spam units and doesn't expand aggressively. You can get her to Friendly very fast and you won't be a heathen long if you open borders. Since she generally founds an earlly religion and spreads it early you won't be without a religion even if you didn't take the time to research it.

I can see her being dangerous on another continent. She can convert her continent and create a lovefest that techtrades to prominence. Although she can declare at Pleased that isn't much of a concern. She's usually Friendly or Annoyed, depending on religion.

in my current game she DOWed me after i got ahead slightly.i took about half her cities including her capital that had 2 holy buildings there.then i made peace.

Slightly disappointing poll options since we are initially asked if we love or hate, but have to vote on either 5x!!!!! degree hate or just neutral no hate. I love her (around 2x!!'s) but voted no hate as the closest.

Nah. Cathy is nicer. It's a sweet surprise doing into diplo with Cathy and reading "Is that a treaty in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?" (Anyone else get that one?)
Izzy's nice, but I always end up killing her

Cathy hasn't stabbed you in the back?!?! (faints). Izzy's rarely a backstabber because she's either Friendly or Annoyed. And if you want her shrine, it is easy to take (although I like her for group hug).

If you have Ghandi declaring on you, you're doing something seriously wrong. He builds few units, won't declare until furious and he usually goes for culture.

Ghandi always declares on me too. And Catherine has never declared war on me before.

She might be fun after a few drinks, though I don't think that she's really my type.

Unless my type is religious pushovers that lip me off to the point that I kill them.

I like Izzy. When I was a nooby I made sure she was one of the AI civs every game. It's just so easy to stay friendly with her. She spams missionaries, values same religion way to much and pretty much gathers everyone into a big group hug and the one or two that don't see reason get mass DOW.

I think what happens is because he's militarily weak, he gets forced in to it by other civilizations.

I am at best indifferent to her. She's annoying even when she's useful.

I like playing with her and against her. In my games she usallys builds AP and then uses it to help herself and me (I usually switch to her religion) and boom I have a decent, AP backed, ally

I hate her. I have never been friends with her, ever! She just pisses and moans about me not having the same religion and then when I do have the same religion she's upset about something else.
