We're having a nice thunderstorm over here...
I love it. The stronger the thunders, the brighter the lightnings - the better!
The last one sounded like a bomb in my backyard
Yes - but not really in my apartment. In my summer house we have a huge window by our dinner table, and through there we can see all down the lagoon, out over the forest, and the sky. Now THAT is fun to watch.
Thunderstorms are fun, especially when you're in a tent that is properly prepared against rain. There's something incredibly relaxing about laying back on a cot and listening to the sound of a rainstorm. Makes me go to sleep every time.
Depends on the situation. If I am on the computer, I hate thunderstorms since I would have to shut down my computer to prevent a power surge if a bolt of lightning hits a power line.
But if I am not on the computer. I tend to like them as long as I can see them. I have been in Florada for 2 summers and they have thunderstorms everyday .
The worse the weather, the happier I am. I should move to England perhaps. In California it's sun, sun, sun, every day - so boring! We just got our annual 4-day allotment of rain.
Yes, they're entertaining but I prefer clear weather.
Funny story: There was a big thunderstorm in my town last year. At around 2am a thunderbolt struck a metal barrel and caused a LOUD bang. It was the day after the US declared war on Iraq, so my roommates and I were up for an hour looking on the internet for the latest news, because we thought Iraqi planes had reached America.

I've spent time in hot weather in other countries and have wished for rain as a relief, but believe me man, when its raining all the time its misery.
You don't know how good you have it. Give me sun, sun, sun anyday over rain, rain, rain.
