I look pretty much my age, but people used to underestimate my age before I grew a beard.

Same here, except moustache. I'd get carded everywhere, and they'd give me the third degree, then I grew a moustache and my apparent age rose about ten years.

Of course, that was about 15 years ago. I still have the moustache, and I still look older than I am, but I could probably shave it off and not get carded any more, thanks to my prematurely receding hairline.

Hahah...I bought many bottles of vodka, gin, and beer today quite easily. Not so much as a raised eyebrow...Of course I did the same thing 2 years ago as well when I was 14. So I'm not sure wether is has so much to do with my apperance as it does with the fact that the owners don't care...but whatever its all good as long as I get my alchol.

Bah, that's nothing. I was carded for buying folköl (weak beer, age limit 18) a couple of years ago, when I was 28.
However, they've mostly stopped asking for ID at Systembolaget (liquor store, 20), so I suppose I look over 20 nowadays, at almost 31...

I guess I look my mental age.
