Do you play video game rpgs?

Well i think the modern DSgameboys get a few.. but chances are you are likly to find those games on the net as small ventures not published anywhere but over the net.

The DS doesn't have many RPG's on it at the moment. But there has been a spate of retro games being ported onto GBA cartridges, I have the second LoZ game on a GBA cartridge.

Too bad it's freakin hard.

I have been playing RPG's since the NES. I have been hunting down old RPG's for 10 years now, and after playing many of them, I consider 7th Saga to be easy in comparison.

There is only one Morrowind. I think you mean the Elder Scrolls series of games, of which Morrowind is the third.

Speaking of FF7, did anyone notice a strange scenery change with the church scene?

I remember years ago when it came out, I think Aeris (or her ghost?) was on one part of the church. After a few years, people started reporting that the location (of Aeris) had changed or something.

Anyway, FF6 was my favorite.

Nup, never noticed that.

Also, sorta in the same vein, In my FF8 disk 3, i can't get past getting the Ragnarok cause it freezes, but the music still plays. Any idea how to fix this?

The only RPG I've ever played was Runescape and then i stopped because it sucked.

I used to play rpgs such as ID2, KOTOR1 and 2, Planescape:Torment, and Morrowind.

It's a bit time consuming as each game needs 80+ hrs to finish it, but it's fun!

Can't wait for Oblivion to be released.

Castle of the Winds, Lands of Lore 1/2, Dungeon Master 1/2, Fallout 1/2, Ultima Underworld 2, Ultima 2, Baldur's Gate1/2/ToB, Icewind Dale 1/2, !Planescape Torment!, The Elder Scrolls 2/3, !System Schock 2!, Vampires 2, Arcanum, Nox, Menzobarenzan, Eyes of Beholder 1/2/3, Fable (ph many other games had it better), Diablo 1/2, Realms of Arkania 1/2/3, Gates of Skeldal (don't ask), Quest for Glory 1/3, Albion, Al-Qadim, Betrayal at Krondor, Knights of Xentar mischief, NetHack, Ravenloft 1, Stonekeep, KotoR 1/2.

For most part I have to say that I was rather unimpressed with controls and options of console RPG. Oh and badly done inventories and submenus.

Dunno if these are considered RPGs:
Final Fantasy Tactics, Front Mission series, Super Robot Wars series (Japanese), Ogre Battle, Warsong, Langrisser series, Diablo series...

I seem to have been way into RPGs... I played Diablo series, neverwinter nights series, ultima, ultima online, asherons call 1 and 2, everquest 1 and 2 (seriously), hmm, Guild wars, world of warcraft - i had to give it away before i lost control! Anyways i played many more, now that i see the list I feel like a wasted life... thanks alot. haha, okay... im addicted to games to easily but at least I got a career and a wife... and i got to travel the world alot... pluss was in the military for awhile.. so i guess my life is done! now i can spend it playing CIV haha.

Favorites: Might & Magic 6-8, Wizardry 8 , Diablo series (not completley RPG but still smth close) , and of course the magnificent Fallout series
Liked: Baldur's Gate 2, Septerra Core, Darkstone, Prince of Qin ...

Does anyone remember these games ?

Fraid you are probably screwed mate perhaps a skip doctor could help, but i doubt it.

Played FF2 - FFX2 on game boy and console plus many others from squenix. Also D&D games from Pool of Radiance to Never Winter. Bards tale both the old ones and the new one. Eldar scrolls 2 & 3. And GTA SA. It has a sprawling word, deep story, side quests, and leveling up. The only thing missing is turn based fighting but a hack and slash RPG doesnt have that either.

Ones that I greatly enjoyed where the Fallout series ones. Most excellent.

Bah. Real RPGs from the year of the flood:

Questron, Wizard's Crown, Ultima II, Ultima III, Ultima IV (the best I feel), Ultima V, Bard's Tale, Wasteland, Pools of Radiance, Azure Bonds.

Throw in the Dungeon's and Dragon's game for the Sega, Final Fantasy 7,8,9,and 10 and Diablo 1 for PS and PS2, and then finally kill me currently with Everquest 2 and there you go! RPG's for the last 20 plus years

Its' the onlyFinal fantasy game that's done that to me too.
