These are what I call "Justifiable Smoking Situations" or JSSs:

- Drinking coffee, you are allowed to smoke

- Drinking booze, you are allowed to smoke

- After eating, you are allowed to smoke

- After a stressful moment, you are allowed to smoke

The well-known phrase "Do you smoke after sex?" is pants. I don't like smoking after sex anymore than a situation where I would smoke anyway.

One's "self-interest" depends on one's desire for (assuming a want of control to some extent) the future. If your future is so short sighted as to be sustainable by serving human needs alone...

By excess of humans, what you really mean is reversion of technology and economic development to pre industrial revolution days.

Umm, no. I spit your words from my mouth. What I really mean is: 6-7 billion is too many people. I would like a vacation to Mars asap, if you want my view on technology. Economic development? You can count me in on that too. Any issue has at least 3 dimensions: economic, social, ecologic. Some would add spiritual.

Smoking is awesome. I smoke whenever I can.

I agree with the smoking after sex being over-rated....... I need to have a shower after sex. Of course.... getting out of the shower is a perfect "Justifiable Smoking Situation"....... so I guess I always have one pretty soon after.

i voted for the max number of cigarets, i think each cigar is about 1 to 2 packs worth of tobaco, and i have a lit cigar on me about 4 to 5 hours a day.

believe it or not, but i only inhale about 1/5 of the time and i exhale 99.999% of what i inhale.
