I LOVE this mod! Just some things...

#1: There are over 360 units in RoM v2.8, to be more precise. I'll find the accurate number later.

#2: Why isn't there a Hitler in the mod? I want to face him in war so badly that I want to drop the first A-Bomb on him!

#3: Why isn't there a Burj Dubai Great Wonder in the game? There MUST be one! It's the tallest man-made object (while being a skyscraper) in the history of mankind!!

#4: I heard about Sky City 1000 on Extreme Engineering a few years back that is supposed to house the population of Tokyo when finished. How about if you build a Great Wonder version that promises +2 pop., -1 unhealth, -1 unhappy, and 10 culture?

#5: Try working on new civs that are currently U.S. States, like California and Texas with leaders like (California) Fremont and Reagan. (Why Fremont and Reagan? Fremont lead the Bear Flag Rebellion in 1846 in an attempt to become their own country and Reagan used to be the governor of California before he became President.)

I'll tell you about more necessities later!

#1 So?

#2 Its illegal in some countries and Civ is played world wide - go get Germany to change its laws.

#3 It is in AAranda's Building pack see my sig for a link.

#4 You could build that yourself its just XML :mischief:

#5 The US of A is civilised:confused::mischief:

In answer to the question stated in the title of this thread:

Yes, Yes we have.

1. not a suggestion
2. Hitler would make the game illegal in Germany, so no hitler end of. In the modmods section you might be able to find a hitler in generalstaffs extra leader pack.
3 and 4. agreed, modern wonders are just as important as ancient ones.
5. someone was doing a bit of this in the modmods section but they stopped after a while, that is not neccesary though there are enough civs if you want more then you will have to make them.

#3-#4 or Dynamic Tower (also in Dubai), Poseidon Undersea Resort... I'll dig up couple more soon, I listed some when I did research for transhuman era things ;)

#5 Reagan is included already in the Mega civ pack. If you want some US states, perhaps someone could convert them from other mods to RoM - at least there's some US civs in These Fractured States of America mod project.

1) yeah, keep in mind that it is a longer game than BtS though
2) Illegal in Germany (and France IIRC)
3) so was the Empire States building
4) -unhealth and unhappy doesn't work so +1 Happ and +1 Healthy
5) uh... Reagan is why California is having issues, as a fellow California, please no! but California as a Civ, that might be cool.. how about Mariano G Vallejo?

Rise of Mankind isn't the only game in town. If 360 units is too much for you, and you want Hitler in the game, try another mod that is more in line with what you are looking for; rather then asking for RoM to change.

Also those saying "It's illegal in Germany" are wrong. It would just be a marketing nightmare in Germany, but since RoM isn't being sold, the point is moot. Hitler not being in RoM is because zappara wants it that way, end of story.

Hitler IS in RoM, albeit, only in the mega version.

Wolfshanze has both Hitler and less units.

Problem Solved!

Yeah really, talk about bias. If America needs any more leaders, it should be Gerald R Ford that gets added, not some Californian. :D

:lmao: I was talking about a possible leader for a CALIFORNIAN CIV! not American
:nono: General Mariano Guadalupe Vallejo would be a good Canidate, Reagan sucked badly if it wasn't for him the UC system would still be the best in the World! and California wouldn't have these ****ing budget problems

BTW José de Jesus Vallejo (General Vallejo's Brother)was important in late colonial Fremont

I have 3 complaints:
1. My goal in 1/3 of every Civ game is to build every wonder im my capitol, the 4/city :):):):):):):):), doesnt work. Also it makes it almost impossible to win a cultural victory
2. New Civ: Amazon's from greek mytho, who wouldn't want to play as a bunch of naked female warriors
3. Fascism, being a Semi-Fascist, i was at first glad to see fascism was incorporated in the game, however #1 The only true Fascist nation was Spain under Franco, Mussolini had it for 3 years, but then became more left wing econ, and more right wing socially, Hitler, was never a fascist Nazism and Fascism are completely different (on the political scale Nazism is +9 A/L (Authoritarian/Libertarian) and +1 EL/R (Economic Left/Right) while Fascism is +8A/L and +10 EL/R) unfortunately most Fascist nations grew more and more left wing over time, and that is were Fascism and Nazism get confused. #2, it sucks, and the benefits/consequences of it relate to Nazi societies not Fascist. Please fix. Just in case people are wondering, questioning whether I know what fascism is according to the political compass I am +6.85A/L and +7.29EL/R
Other then these minor mistakes I don't have many complaints

1) There are posts in other threads instructing you on how to turn off the 4 wonders/city restriction. However, cultural victories are in fact easier with the restriction, due to forcing you to diversify which cities gain the wonders (and you need 3 cities with max culture to win that way). I have found cultural victories to come early in the game, and at annoying times, so I simply turned them off.

2) I believe it has been stated that Zappara will not incorporate any new civs into RoM.

3) Being not well informed on the subject, I cannot meaningfully respond. As far as "fixing" it, if you have a suggestion as to how to fix it, that would be helpful.

All right, forget about Hitler. I now know that the Germans don't like it. Forgive me for yelling, but I GET IT! Let's forget the 'Hitler Nonsense' before it turns into an Internet slugfest. He. Is. Officially. DEAD from the conversation. But the Burj Dubai and Sky City 1000 is still important.

The Burj Dubai should be constructed with 2010 decade technology, and provide +1 population, +2 happiness, +5 production, and +25% culture. Sky City 1000 should be constructed around the 2030 to 2050 decade and provide +2 population, +5 health, +5 happiness, and +20 culture. They're both World Wonders. You can adjust the numbers if you want.

P.S. I can't mod. Also, a person who's prejudiced against people from other places is a regionist. (I made that word up, but if I play my cards right, it could be Word of the Year.)

(after the reply) What have I done to deserve this?!

-----

(later) I'm fine with a lot of units, don't hear me complain.
