I don't worry about the "why". He said it, and he didn't put a winky-face at the end, so I see no reason to assume he was being snarky. Maybe he's a right-winger who really is anti-corporation?? I've met religious Democrats, atheist Republicans, environmentalist conservatives and liberals who are members of the NRA. So I see no reason to jump to conclusions.

I want to win the lottery in order to spend the remainder of my days traveling and writing fan fiction. This "become a corporate fat cat" stuff sounds too much like it involves actual work plus some kind of interpersonal skills.

For all the griping about corporate elites looting us underclassers, my experience is that most people in the corporate world, while certainly paid better than me, do actually work quite hard at their jobs.
