Does ANYBODY use shoe-horns anymore?

Yes; I have a shoe horn.

My feet are different sized so one shoe
is loose and the other tight; but I only
use it for a week or two for a new shoe
after which the tight shoe has stretched.

If a topic needs a sticky to stay on top, it isn't interesting.

When I buy a new pair of trainers I tie the laces once in big knots and thats it.
I squeeze into them until it becomes no hastle. (I use my finger)

Yes, I use a shoe horn. I don't spend large amounts of money on decent shoes only to ruin them through laziness.

Damn, I didn't even think they existed anymore. I've never used one. My shoes get abused and they don't wear out on me. Then again I don't wear pansy shoes that I have to take care of.

I never unlace my shoes so I suppose having one might be nice. I have a shoe thumb though and it works just as well.
