Does anyone have PLE working?

Is anyone using Plot List Enhancement working? It enables you to select all units of a type in a stack eg wounded, archers, siege etc. Useful when attacking with a large stack. I have not seen it work since AIAndy did some changes so that we could subset buildings etc in the city screen.
 
You mean ctrl+shift+mouse click

If you have PLE active (BUG option see screen1) you should have a set of icons on the line between the map and unit actions. Those buttons allow you to select all naval units or all injured units etc. in the stack.

I'll see if I can find a mod with it active so I can show an image of what it should look like.

I guess it doesNOT work then, i have is marked also, i always have, but never seen anything where you have it marked.:blush:
 
e used to have it just by ticking the BUG option but I never used it except in late game when I had huge stacks. In BUG 4.4 they have two main interface code files one with PLE in its name. I think I need to read their documentation on this.
 
You need to go back to that settings tab and pick PLE for the Draw Method. Really. Try it. It will almost certainly work.

In old versions of C2C, like the one R2R is based on (and therefore in R2R) those buttons only show up if the Draw Method is set to PLE. If it is set to anything else (including BUG) the buttons are not there. I even jsut checked to make sure. If they used to show up just from checking the "Show Mode/Filter Buttons" box, then either it used to default to PLE for the Draw Method or you had set it to PLE in your saved settings.
 
Thanks God-Emperor, you are right. My only excuse is that I can't seem to get rid of this head cold. ;)

Now I wonder why BUG 4.4 has two versions of the interface code cvMainInterface.py and CvMainInterface PLE.py, what the differences are and which should we be using? :D

Also should we be using the same or similar buttons in the unit filters.....
 
Can we tweak heroes to be in one combat class for PLE style.
NOw when grouping units per combat type each hero is on new line (each acts as independent combat class for PLE)
 
Currently things go wrong if you try and select a unit while in the city screen if PLE is on. Wrong is probably to strong since actually nothing happens. There is a "conflict" somewhere between the filters for buildings etc and PLE.

I believe your going to have to talk to AIAndy since he is the one that changed the PLE stuff around for C2C. (I believe)
