Look, it's a poll! :)

Note : I chose the red cross because it was the most moon looking smiley for the title.

Its possible but as far as I know there is no evidence linking the gravitational forces applied by the moon and human behavior

What does the full moon have to do with gravitational forces that the "regular moon" doesn't?

No, I don't think it affects it at all, and everyone around me seems to be brainwashed that it's one of the most important things in life for humans!! :crazyeye: It's simply beyond me why so many people think so.

I'm not quite sure but I know that different phases of the moon effect tidal forces differently so it would be on that I would assume that its gravitational forces would effect humans differently as well.

Yeah, ok, but it's got to do with the geometrical configuration of the earth, moon and sun. The "full moon" optical effect is a biproduct of this, as is an increased tidal effect.

Of course, you might have meant that, but from a nitpicking point of view, the full moon doesn't cause tidal changes.

I personally believe the full moon effects us to do so because some people out there in our nation don’t have moons and I believe that our moon like such as in South Africa and the Iraq everywhere like such as and I believe they should our moon over here in the U.S. should help the U.S. or should help South Africa or should help the Iraq and Asian countries so we will be able to build up our future for us.

21 22 23 oh sorry I'm counting the brain cells I'm loseing :D

If the full moon does affect human behavior perhaps we should ban it. After we redistribute the sun for the poor of course.

 Ok, you win.

As my cop family/freinds once said: "A full moon is a sign for the crazies to come out at night".

Of course it affects emotions. I'm much more likely to enjoy a clear winter night after a snowfall if there is a full moon when compared to a new moon.

:)

Well, I'm stumped. Could someone explain the reference to an idiot?

Yes... Because many have been trained to through superstitions, or they simply notice the light. So it's not some sort of mystical effect from the gravity, it's a cultural effect.
