Seriously though. All you had to do was hold the left flank long enough for Germans to support your position. You basically crumbled faster than the Italians. Than the Italians, lets make that clear.
Romania didn't had an army in WW2. The King was a liability, the Government was split betwen german supporters and russian supporters, and the army was made of untrained civilians with no idea why they were fighting, with cheap , outdated guns. Our economy was in decline and the only capable military leader was branded as traitor because he helped both sides. Plus, we were the only resistance left in the whole of Eastern Europe and we weren't Germany's priority. Plus, the Germans took a lot from Romania before, so we weren't on kind terms anyway.
