Doto [AdvCiv ModMod]

I wonder if traits in O2 1.9 are generic (same as in vBTS) or specific with some inheritance from component mods. Is there a list with description of all traits available in O2?

Can sb link me to it?

hey,

sorry, no list, but ill make sure next version 2.0 will have one,
meanwhile you can see what traits i made in the civ4traits.xml under assets/xml/civilizations under the ol folder.

i added some a long time ago, cant remmber what....
not somthing from another mod.

already working on v2.0 by the way.

not sure what this means, but i think its somthing form bug mode,

just turn off the python msg errors through the civ4.ini file,
and everything will work flawlessly.

could it be that I deleted the CvEventInterface.py (but it is inside the mod)

i see,
then you must have done somthing wrong,
delete all of the overlord2 folder, reopen the 1/9 version,
load,
be sure to use civ4 3/17 patch,
and only under english languege.

other then that......i dunno....
but the mod as is is working for me and everyone else,

follow my instructions, and see what happens,
let me know.

on version 2.0

i added for now population limit -
now you city have limited growth ,
in order to increase it - you have to build buildings - like aquaduct and so on (like in civ 3,2).

more to come.
 
Hey ... a quick one....
Is it me or there is something weird with Random Events? It is a second game when I got a "job" to do... I do it .... before it expires ...:rolleyes:I meet all requests and conditions and ..... nothing happens.... no super duper bronze shielding or extra flaming arrows..... nothing..... Is it me? Am I the chosen one? :crazyeye:

...oh ... by the way ... GREAT JOB with taking me away from Holiday's cooking ........ Great to be able to play O2 again..... against all ods....and family

I removed in BugUtil.py line 203

try to delete every thing, redownload 1/9 and install,

im not sure why you guys have no interface,
im playing at my end, have no problem what so ever,
also many people downloaded the file and no reports.

try to check your installation again, make sure you have 3/17 and under english.

And still I have no interface and when I play (without interface) and press esc and choose "option", new window don't open :(
I'm sure I have civ IV BtS with 3.17 patch and game is english....
Any idea to fix it ??
 
I have the no interface bug as well. I'm not sure what is going on, I edited the file above by commenting out the section described. Too bad, it sounds like I'm missing out on a fun mod.

sorry mate, but i have no idea why you dont have any interface.

at my end and 400 other people that dl this mod dont have a problem....

try to write me all of the stuff you are doing after dl this mod, and what system are you using,
i will upload a new version, but that might take a while.
 
:mischief: hello me again, after playing quite long an new problem occurs . I attached my save game . at the end of the current turn the whole application crashes. could you reproduce the behaviour? the log files contain nothing useful (only certain revolution stuff).

ill do my best glx,

ive been playing with my 1.10 version over 700 turns, and also i ran over 5000 test turns with auto ai,

never had a crash,

but,
i never turn on revolution mod or babarian civ, basicley the settings that ive published the version with, are optimized for maxsimun performence,

does the crash happens everytime you try to play?

ill try to check it, uder what version do you play? - 1.8 1.9?
