I am having problems downloading version 1.9
When ever I download it, I get a usles 12kb file.
 
Hi,
I've just bought CIV4 complete version and started from this fantastic mod since original game is so boring. Unfurtunatly I have crash when starting game (sheer mod loads ok). I use Vista home.
Do you know perhaps what to do? Please notify me when you need any additional infomations like detail version of OS, parameters of my computer, scan from crash etc.

hi,
well, theres several resons why you have a crash:
- you havnt installed 3.17 bts patch, not sure if complete includes it.
- run only english
- also, maybe vista causes this, though im skeptic.

im on final stages of the new version of the mod,
maybe the next version will worl fine on your cpu,

ill release very soon, im delaying cause i want to balance as much as i can.

not sure why speciphicly you hae a crash,
if you cant get my mod to work,
try another one - like thomas war, wolfrevolution, they are also great mods.

The problem was the version so I updated to 3.17 still I don't have menu so just full map. Is it a bug or shell update civ4 core to another version ?
Have you ever noticed such behaviour before?

hi, i try to answer fast when i can..:)

well no interface, i heard this before, it somthiong fromrevolution mod,
theres a solution a few pages back in my thread, someone attached a file aswell,
look for it buddy,
or wait a few days till my next release.

version 2 is out !!!


hi y'all, ive added many things to the currnt version heres a few:
-revdcm 1 - with all of its componants (bug 3.6 and so on)
- passable mountains
-many new techs and a rebuild of the old one
-removed all negetive bonueses
- reduced costs of maintqenence and upkeeo
- added a few units
-reworked all of the bonueses - appearance rate, values, and negetive values
- changed all unit attributes
- many new wonders from thomas war
- fixed many many bugs reported by players
-abandon city/building mod
-reduced cost of maintenance

-made mercenary units as an addon for those who dont like it,
and because it screws up the unit pedia in the main screen - the ingame works fine - it annoyed me.

tips to play:
-make sure you python error massege is off (through the civ.ini
-try not to use all the revolution stuff
-multiplayer - try to turn most of the modpacks off

known issues:
-there a rare ctd - but you can reload and continue to play
-some pedia text is missing
-dont be suprised if many buildings looks the same - its for stability
-also buttons may be duplicated - again for satble gameplay
-the speeds of the game is inbalanced - i would appricate some help....:-)

Again the same with this new wersion. I get a usles 12.57KB file? Could you check your upload?

hey all,

ive just started playing this mod as celts, researched straight to the tech that allows the druidism tech. i build the national religion wonder to get druidism but when after i get the founding religion screen i get the 'entered classical era' screen, after this the game tells me ive founded a new religion and gives me options what to call it.

in this list of options druidism isn't offered as an option and if i choose say buddhism, both buddhism and druidism are founded in the same city.

it apears after i found druidism i found a second religion for some reason.

anyone else with this situation?

ps - should be easy to replicate, tried this twice and i happens both times.

First of all congratulations on the new release of Overlord. As always your work is full of innovation and interesting gameplay features.

I can confirm having the same issue reported by Lukethecruel. In my case I founded both Amon Ra and Hellenism. Every AI that founded a religion later got two in a time (Judaism - Christianity) and (Buddhism - Islam). I wasn't playing with Choose Religions option.

I also need your advice as for which speed you recommend. I've tried FX-Overlord and wasn't comfortable with it. While techs take so little to be researched, units take too long to be trained.

really glad to see you gave it a try :)

its so wierd, i started a gae my self, and i founded judaism, and only got 1 religion,
dont understand how that can happen.

mmm... the speeds...yeah most of my work was on how to set the speeds right,
i kinda reduced the tech cost of 1500 t just before the release,
the unit cost, same thing, i think at start the costs of units might be expenssive,

i also check alot of 2000 turns,

i tryed to set the techs all to be learnt withing the 1500 turns, so thats why the low cost, isnt this right?

anyway, i would really like to get some help with the speeds, thats my week spot.

did anyone else got the 2 religion found thing?

kali, can you post me a save before the double founding?
