dumb statment! but i only want to play with 6 0r 8 other leaders but when i playing 1.5 it seems it get all 24. is there a way to use only my leaders and say 8 others

you can either set them to none in the player set-up screen or open the scenario properties in the editor and set it to only 8 players.

RangerTAC, I like what you are doing with the map, keep it up. :goodjob:

i am still having problems with 1.5 my player set up screen does not have "none , it either says "your civilization", "active , or i pick a tribe name. .i do not how to go into the scerano properties to change the number that i play with, i only want 6 to 8 tribes. maybe i did not install the zip file right., i started with 1.1 then 1.4 and 1.05 and then 1.50, i unzippped all of them into PTW scenarios folder thanks big fish

@Big fish: What is the name of the BIX file you choose when you load a scenario, and what is your version of PtW?

When I go into the setup, I can choose 'none' without problems

I'm playing a game as the Germans. Great fun. Things were pretty hairy there for a while, until the infidels realized they couldn't possibly conquer teutonic might.

Anyway, the civilopedia says there is no war weariness under "The Republic", but it seems like there was. I could be wrong though.

hmmm...3 days since someone's said something....don't tell me the mighty DyP thread has fallen?!

DYP 1.5 is DA BOMB. This is Civ III as it was meant to be! I'm sold on the gameplay, units, upgrades and all the really neat things I'm finding to like about this mod. Truly a masterpiece of improvement upon the original...I may not even buy the next "upgrade" now! Bravo!!!!!

I would rethink that, gunnergoz. . . there are going to be a lot of improvements to the gameplay that would take DyP to a higher level. . .

But you're right. DyP does make Vanilla Civ & PTW seem, well, quick. So when I don't mind taking a long time on a game, I fire up DyP. When I want a 'quick' game, I play regular.

This sounds like a cool mod. Unfortunately, I can't get Civ3 working right now (computer is acting weird), so I won't be able to try it for a while. But, I read over the excel file and I did notice one thing in particular: "Early Submarine" sounds lame. How about the U-boat?
