Doubt towards the J.S.Bach's

I don't know if it's of my computer...but it seems that the J.S. Bach's Cathedral has effects on all the cities of the world and not only to the cities of the continent on here it's built.

Please reply....(my civ 2 version is MGE 1.3)

Contrary to printed sources, JS Bach affects all your cities, not just those on the same continent. Ditto for Hoover Dam.

I'm moved to swearing. "Nipple". There. I did it.

I never bothered building Shakespeares, as I thought it only affected the one city. The only reason to build it (i thought) was if you wanted to war from one city under a democracy. I war under fundamentalism, and swap between the two (statue of liberty instead).
