Why not first draw with the black pencil and then paint over it with a brush? I trust that is what you did in the past, and i like your use of colour

I'm usually very coy about showing my artwork, but what the hell, a lot of these aren't even finished.

I'm painting this on one of my walls, I'm not really finished. It looks kind of glossy in this photo, I'll need to put a glaze over it when I finish. Its about 2 meters tall. I might add a backround scene as well and perhaps more figures. My dining room will look like a Mexican restaurant.

I can go mad trying to take a picture of a painting. The colors don't always come across, and it can be difficult to get the right angle where the proportions look exactly right. This was taken at a slightly upward angle so Mr. Obama's face doesn't look quite right proportionally.

I'm not a particularly good landscape painter. This was commissioned by a friend for his wedding anniversary.

These were all done in acrylic (except the obvious pencil drawings). I'm just now teaching myself how to paint with oils, which I think is a superior medium. I have no professional training aside from high school art class, which I got a C in.

Never really did anything lately that could be considered horror that I can think of. I wouldn't be against it if I came up with a good idea. I need to improve my landscape painting ability as well as improve my compositions before I could paint anything like your favorite- Beksiński . Maybe some day I will. Oddly enough I'm more comfortable with portraiture than landscapes, even though landscape painting is supposed to be easier.
I flat out suck at painting architecture.
