Hello there, guys.

Lately, there hasn't been any DaL threads... so I figured out it was time for a new one.

Here is my first contribution: Mike Mignola's Hellboy, for those unfamiliar with the caracther.

So there it is. I encourage you guys to post your art for us to take a look.

Regards :).

You beat me to it, FredLC! I too was wondering if the artists here had anything up their sleeves.

Very nice work on Hellboy. :goodjob:

Nice work, Fred!

Sadly, I'm no longer connected to the internet at home, so I can't upload any drawings from there. I may be able to get them to my work computer and upload them from there, though.

Wow that's really good. I used to draw a lot, but I got discouraged when I saw how many people out there were better than me. I stick to pencil sketches mostly, never really tried color that much.

I'm no colorist either. Rheinmetall is the guy I go to if I'd like to see something of mine colored. That guy is a coloring god.

Apparently, they got nothing. :(

No sweat. I am already working on my new update, that should be ready in a few days. It's an improved version of the Gun Man I made for the first DaL thread, suing a bunch of what I learned about digital painting over the last year.

Regards :).

Apparently, no artist else is interested... well, I shall suffice.

Here is my latest art... thanks to the movie... ;)

Dang nice work chaps!
@Fred: Doc Oc's tentacles must have been a pain to colour!

Well, here is an image from a comic I am designing at the moment!

One more contribution to this thread - Hehehehe, I am on a drawing spree lately.

This here was the first test of a new painting technique that ocurred to me yesterday - and also, a good excuse to try Spidey again.

I think I like your second drawing the best FredLC, although, your shading and coloring in your pictures are supurb. megaprops for that.

keep up the good work!

Well, that one was a much more complex rendering; this is rather simple, mostly for the purpose of testing my idea - Spidey, having only two colors, is very convenient for that.

Anyway, i do like the way it turned out, and chances are that I'll improve with practice (and that I will eventually by myself a tablet, what will mean improvement per se).

Anyway, Thanks for the comment.

Good work, Fred!

Are you still at the Elfwood gallery?
Actually, I do.

Check the links in my signature. ;)

None of the drawings in this thread is up yet, though...

Regards :).

And now, finishing my series of Spider-man drawings, here comes an oldie for you Spidey fans:

The Dark Uniform:

Drew this yesterday night, got the concept after browsing around a little on elfwood.com, so credit for that goes to some artist....

Great, we need new faces on this thread. Welcome, and keep on posting.

Do you also have an elfwood account?

Regards :).

Nop, don't have an Elfwood account, but I don't think I've got enough drawings to really make it worth getting one..

Then you must create some drawings, man!

Everyone should draw!
:)
