UPDATE I
Back in the cargo room, the security officer smiled. “Thank you, sir! (He means eric). You’re saving a genius!” The last of the doctors to leave the base left, leaving only security personnel there.
The squads entered the security office, and met Captain Wagner, as well as his second in command, Lieutenant Warman. Also, there were several other security personnel there, working near computers.
They were checking cameras and such, monitoring the situation.
Captain Wagner smiled. “Welcome. I hope you’re here to end the threat. Good. Now, you have
to remember that about half of the personnel on this base are missing, so try to round up as
many as possible. I’ll stay up here to monitor your status, as well as hold the cargo bay for you.
My assistant, Lieutenant Warman, will control several security guards and can act as your backup.”
Wagner continued, “Don’t get too trigger happy down there. Try to keep the property in working condition.”
“Sir, we have another visual,” a guard said. Wagner turned to the computer. He saw a horrific sight.
“You guys stay frosty down there,” Wagner said. “Good luck.”
A security officer spoke next. "We have this floor under control, but once you get down there,
it isn't secured, so anything can happen."

I'll get stats done ASAP. NExt update tonight, so post orders quickly. Rmemeber, the elevator
in part of the elevator room, so you can head down to the next floor in Update II.

[OOC: I'm naming my soldiers so that I don't have to say "Soldier A", but all the names will begin with the right letter.]
"Jesus H. Christ!" he swore, catching himself, "...have mercy on these men's souls." The room was more than just "bloody". It was littered with fragmented corpses.
"All right, eyes front, and eyes up!" Erik shouted. "I won't have anything getting the drop on us by hanging on the ceiling. Chester, (sniper) cover the elevator in case something comes out there."

"Excellent," Erik said, "let's move. Derek, up front, and keep your eyes front. Anything pops up, shoot it immediately." Erik quickly shuffled his squad down the empty hallway and opened the door to the elevator room.Security Officer said:

If you were curious, the reason the famous anime character Doraemon is named just that is presumed to be because he likes to eat those (it is frequently shown so in the comics)

move to elevator room, cover rear with 2, move forward with 3 go to floor C (if possible) if not then go to floor B, weapons at ready as soon as door opens, identify first, then shot hostiles (anything that doesn't look like a living human is a hostile)

The squads headed towards the elevator….there was no one in the halls or the elevator room. But there was no blood either, which made them feel alright. When they headed for the elevator, everyone could fit in it easily, allowing all the soldiers to head down. When the elevator reaches ‘B’ floor, Eric notices something strange:
Someone had been working here recently
The squads stepped out of the elevator, unsure of what to do next. A scene of blood, gore, and dead people meets them. Suddenly, one of the bodies lying around murmur, “Help me…help me…” He then grab’s the ankle of Guard A as if he needs assistance. Guard A freaks out at this (-1.2 morale) but the injured person dies, so no firing happens. But something else happens. They hear a weird noise, almost like a crunching, coming from the hall. What is it?
