Now maybe when you have a spare moment...maybe we can lobby Thamis so that we can create a true update of his Fertile Crescent mod, which is the precursor to his TAM mod.Drtad said:Thank you both very much.
No I usually contact him via private e-mail. If you have an old copy of Civ3 you can see it in the mod/scenario section. Basically it was TAM comprised of the old civilizations minus any civilization north of Greece and Persia. So you had civilizations like Nubia, Egypt, Sheba, Israel/Judah, Babylon, Assyria, Persia, Medea, Sumer, the Hittites, Akkadians, Lydia, Troy, Mycenae, Minos (Crete), etc. Basically the precursor (first) civs. I was one of the last guys from the Civ3 Tam Team other than Thamis, Laurino and BenG. I never really got that intricately involved in Civ4 TAM other than a suggestion here or there. I will have to write Jan (Thamis) about these recent developments. Thanks for the heads up.Drtad said:Didn't you look at the TAM forum? Thamis is leaving for a game designing job, and Laurino is the new TAM leader. I am now part of the TAM team as well.I do not know what the Fertile Crescent mod was, if you can enlighten me on the subject, I might be able to resurrect it myself.
Great! Add that to the Jaguar Knights and the Incas, Aztecs and Mayan Civs should have a nice interesting unit. Can't wait to see it. Also can't wait to see the new scenario that you are thinking about. Anyway work on it when you can....there is no pressure....really none at all.....lol.Drtad said:I might make a scenario for my mod, Akhenaton. I will also be adding the ancient Atlatl unit for the next version.
