docceh, no sweat, but I'll change the naval stuff before I do - OK? Also, I cut OCN by half, that makes settler diarhoea a lot better - but also forces you to keep the lower numbers in mind - otehrwise you can jsut out-expand the AI. Requires some honesty on your part
Since they are planning on realising the next patch friday, How do you guys want to handle it ?? I don't upgrade to the next patch till the no cd fix is released, though i could upgrade then id have to pull out my cd and actually use it...
Well, usually the no CD patch comes out quite fast anyway. So I would suggest we move up to the latest patch as soon as possible. Of course it will be up to the player currently playing when the patch is out. I am beginning to feel weary downloading the 7-8 MB patch with my 56k each time it is out.
@docceh : Perhaps you should lure the other half to get her hands on Civ3. But then you might be at the loosing end if she like it so much and take over.
Yup thats another reason i dont want to upgrade right away.. thats a good 2 to 3 hours download for me here.. And that's without being kicked for being "browser inactive" ... im soooo glad ISP don't bother to actually look at all those packets wizzing through there system to me and back out into the net again..
I'd recommend a 24h wait on the patch - just think of the 1.16 version glitch....... Then, if the Forum makes no bad noise, we should switch. I wouldn't mind letting the SG rest for that time.
docceh: my GF was making fun of all civ and Civ2 players. Now, we constantly fight over the CD........
