E-Mail notification not working for me again

I have not been notified of anything, PM or threads, since Friday. I thought it might be because of my ban but now I see it is another general failure. I hope that in the best tradition of firaxis we will at least get a "we are working on the problem" note. I find using my vB home to negotiate previous threads is cumbersome and unweildy because it keeps resetting to the last 0 days of posts when I go away to post and click back on it.

Telefragged recently installed some email security features to the server to deal with spams. Maybe that's why...

I've sent Telefragged 2 emails about the email notification problem. It should be fixed soon...

I agree with Sultan, it's too cumbersome in checking in the board - I find myself looking at theads I've already seen and with now new posts

I just noticed that I added some extra subscribed threads and they didn't show up. I had to delete some unwanted ones before they appeared

That might be because of your browser cache. Did you try refreshing the page?

Yes I did.

I added two new threads, neither showed up. I deleted an old thread, and one of the new ones appeared. I deleted another old thread and the second one appeared.

Maybe I've finally lost it and my memory has gone (but I'm pretty sure it did this).

I don't understand how stopping email spam could affect users here. That kind of thing is to stop the server being an open relay (neither sender or reciever belongs to the isp, so it deletes the email instead of sending it on). This could be possible if cfc was sending email from outside the isp or with a non-cfc email, but it should be the same for everyone, so it should all work or not

Still not working? Here is the reply Telefragged sent me on the 27th:

should be ok, mail will be slower due to the extra rule checks we need
to apply for spammers. The server is free to send mail to anyone and I
did test the mail to ensure it was working.

The notification should be working again, I did change something late
last night.

Same Here. You know how certain threads get 'black balled' and that black Circle shows up on the envelope? I take it everyone has those? Anyway, im going to switch to a different e-mail address\server I have, I will let everyone know If it works.

The little black circle shows up on threads in which you have posted in.
