when i play civ4, i make war at any times (only if i can win it!!!) but i never the exploit to win before going in the next 2nd time.
i mean that i want a strategy to win in the first era. and not in renaissance, industrial, or modern times

must i build only units and try a rush?

if you already win like that, tell me...how!

thanks! :goodjob:

It depends how close your nearest enemy is. Are you close enough that his cities are going to stop you placing new ones? If so, don't bother placing any of your own. Concentrate on building 8-10 good attacking units chariot/axeman/unique unit and then take his cities instead of building your own. You might need to build one city though, if you need to grab horses or bronze.

i only have conquest victories in warlords (vassals make it easy)
but
i think you need to focus on an early "dominant" unit and just build/whip/chop those and raze everything except maybe the occasional "forest heavy" last city of a rival.
