THIS DOESN'T WORK YET!!!

This is my first scenario....
It's 200 AD!
It's a map of the world in 200 AD for bts and a version for darkciv!
I used the huge 18 civ world map that came with the game, and the darkciv mod which makes the scenario a bit more realistic religion wise.
The Civs are

Moroe

Satavahna Empire

Han Empire.

Celtic Tribes

Roman Empire

Parthian Empire

Yamato

Gothic People

16 Kingdoms

Frankish People

Vandal People

Angle People

Persian Empire

Nordic Tribes

Kingdom of Axsum

Moche Civilization

Mayan City States

Kushan Empire

Known bugs:
Spoiler :
1.) in regular version, Rome converts to Christianity immeadiatly and the iranian nations adobt either Judaism or Christianity; not a problem in darkciv version
2.)Rome advances WAY too quickly. i tried to combat this with the civil war aspect

Installation instructions:
1.) download from either below or from here
2.) Unzip into public maps and open in play scenario!

Darkciv version:
1.) Get Darkciv by Evertebrate
2.) Unzip into the public maps folder in the darkciv mod.

please send feedback on improvments for this or future ones constructed by myself.
screenshots attached.

looks interesting ill download it. I might help you with this but you see I just got my copy of CIV 4 a month ago and im still weening myself off of civ 3.

well this is my first thing to ever put on civ fanatics and i've had it since.... like..... 2008 or so! i would like help too!

Looks very nice for a first try!:goodjob:

The darkciv version looks much better graphically. You might add some installation instructions (like the darkciv version probably needs Darkciv) and put it up in the Download database. ;)

Rome advancing fast seems because of the expanse of their empire/cities; the civil war is a good idea. You could also take away and/or give certain advances to neighbours (rising pressure from the borders was in part the result of technological trade, which in the 5th would finally nullify any Roman edge). Other than that it might be hard to balance out Rome being overpowered...

I think China should be divided into several states, as of 200 AD the period of disunity was only two decades away

First of all, Chinese history i am definatly NOT well versed in, and being that i can only choose 18 civs i chose the Han dynasy and Liang from this map. In 220 China split into 3 kingdoms and the only civs i could relocate and chage would be Liang and Han. by 300 northern china split into 16 kingdoms of Mongols, Turks and Tiebetans but in the south there was the Jin so i guess i could change Liang into a civ "16 Kingdoms" and turn Han into Jin. I got all this from this website. again, my chinese history isn't very well veresed at all

just completed V 1.1!

these are somethings i tried to fix:
Spoiler :
Rome now splits into fragments, i tried to mimic the wars of tetrachy.
Han changed to Jin and Liang to "16 kingdoms"
Meroe slightly more able to play as
added some resources
made germanic tribes stronger

Whenever I play this it just crashes or says I've been defeated.

are you still working on this?
