EFZI2- The PBEM!

*psssst* I know you have a lot of stuff there, but the problem is the horde around it, not the city authorities trying to tax your belongings on the inside…

It seems like the Zombies are trying to take back the Fast Food joint, but thankfully the amount of units this time are few. We continue our attack on the Hardware store and we managed to kill a Paradise Mortician and one Sated alpha, so we are slowly making progress there. WE also managed to kill some zombies near the Wild Boar Inn. GPS to the Authorities.

The Authorities Convoy continues it's way to the Graveyard and begins to get set up. It is likely the building will fall within the next few turns.

A few zombies that looked like they were headed towards Hannibal's Place are cleared out as well.

Expansion work on the People's Palace continues, providing reeducational employment for those who harbour any residual sympathy for the undead hordes.

Skirmishing across the Farmers' terrain and neighbouring zones continues.
  • A Roaming Alpha Zombie has been taken down in one single shot by Comrade Jack Bauer of Elite level, together with some dogs in the Pre-Zombie infection stage of the virus.
  • Dogs have been shot down near the Hardware Store
  • some Zombies have been mowed down near the Armoury.

The Authorities are warned that a slow wave of Zombies is proceeding south towards the Cinema. We're trying to do the best to save our fellow humans from this devastation, but we can't shoot down all of them.

We have received complaints from our tollbooth collectors about the Authorities claiming some toll exemption thing. This has considerably displeased our workers' union.

We are continuing to attack the Hardware Store, but we are facing strong resistance by the zombie forces there. There are all sorts of hideous creatures that come from that building. We lost a stripper to an attack from a giant hornet and thankfully we were able to injure a worm before it could do any damage to us. It seems like some weird forces are at play here. GPS to the lame authorities.

ZOMG c_h you've sent the one where we'd all declared war on Bengal Tiger and taken five of his cities! Quick, before he realises it!

The assault on the Graveyard progresses. A few zombies are slain in the general area, as well as some who started to approach the Town Hall.

A Riot Cop unit is dispatched against a zombie fortified near Zeb's Farm.

The Survivors are kindly requested to move their units blockading the street past Zeb's farm that leads to the Military base.

Our revolutionary assault is resulting in the destruction of some Zombie counterrevolutionary units around the Hardware Store, but it appears not to be enough.

Strategic raids led by our Oriental master Vuldacon have resutled in the destruction of Zombie Workers, Sewer Tunnels and bat Infestations, but the bulk of enemy defenders at the Church and Bank remains untouched.

Our reply to the Authoritarian faction is that we are doubtful as to why the Authoritarians didn't simply drive through Zeb's currently unoccupied Farmland.
Also, they should watch out for the swarm of Pre-Zombie Dogs coming from the Cinema and try not to shoot the Company's canine division in retaliation.

With the road unblocked we could bring reinforcements from near the Weapons Range next turn. Otherwise it would take two turns.

Hopefully you moved them anyways, as it would cost you nothing and we are all on the same side here.

My farmland is not a thoroughfare. It is highly productive land that must not be trampled on by machines or zombies, thus w have worker their protecting our valuable asset. I fail to see why the Civilians would block access to the military for the Authorities.

The Director has had enough. He has personally decided to oversee the capture of the bank and has dismissed the incompetent fool that was in charge. He's now retired and enjoying his hobby of Marine Biology.

I am bit frustrated with my machine, since for some reason conquests stopped working just before I was it was going to save after doing all the Zombie moves, so I lost what i did and the results never came back to the first go. First go I killed a colossus worm and Sated in the Hardware Store, but the second turn I only killed a Sated and the worm still lives.
The rest of the damage was minor to the massive stack of Sated Zombies in the Hardware Store. I managed to clear some dogs and zombies from around the Inn, but not much else. GPS to the Authorities. Hopefully the Survivors have some protection for the Furniture store, since some Zombies are heading that way. They are evil nurses and a Chain gang worker. Worse than the original Zombies.

A good, solid, practical argument. Our military leaders in the People's Anti-Zombie Liberation Army have reached the same conclusion independently.

The only side is the side of the people.

Private property cannot stand in the way of the public good.

Science should always be researched, for therein lies the future of all Mankind.

We are trying to cotnain them but we're in bad shape. We hope to be able to erect barricades once we gather our furniture together, but we'll have to hang on somehow for now.

With the bulk of the Authorities long range weapons aimed at the graveyard, around the city centre valiant cops engage in hand-to-hand combat with the undead. We are glad to report that there are no casualties as of yet, but as the disease mutates this will unlikely be the case.

Meanwhile the troop truck carrying reinforcements was forced to swerve out of the way to avoid a civilian standing in the middle of the road. The troops inside were ejected out into the nearby forest, and in the ensuing turmoil only got off about half as many shots as they would have otherwise.

A government advisory is issued that the living should steer clear of narrow streets unless absolutely necessary, as it does more harm than good. It hinders military and police vehicles movement as well as leaves the people more exposed to zombie attacks than if they were fortified inside a building.

We are sorry for the traffic mayhaps and the ecological damage caused by unmerited forest damage, our unarmed civilians have fled in panic at this blatant act of terrorism by the Authoritarian faction. Two Zombies have been shot near the Radio Station and Comrade George has been promoted to the status of Hero of Paradise Island.

Freedom of cult has been ensured throughout the Island by liberating the Church, the local clergy welcomes us with open arms and has granted us absolution for any sins committed during the clearing out of the building: mistakes happen, sometimes a lumbering greenish-tinged figure that moans for brains isn't really a Zombie but someone suffering from Stockholm Syndrome and we are not supposed to shoot them, however, the Hospital being out of our control means such patients cannot get proper care and are better off in the next world.

Thanks to the timely warning received from the Farmers, our valiant troops have managed to destroy an advancing Zombie column, however, we were unable to help them back in further chipping at the infected garrison at the Hardware Store.
