Elaboration of the point system?

Might it be possible to receive some sort of elaboration of this point system for warnings? Like how many points to a ban, etc.?

I promise not to use said information for skirting exactly one point under what would be required for a ban at all times.

It's a work in progress right now.

It depends on the type/severity of the warnings as well as the length between them and the current trend of the member.

Generally speaking, it could be as few as 3 or 4 serious warnings for a ban or up to 6 to 8 less serious warnings for a ban. Like I said though, there are other factors that go into it as well.

Warnings are usually limited to a reasonable timeframe of a month or so. Since the new system has only been in place for a short time warnings given before the new system was being used can still be a factor. But, we aren't going to go back and load all previous warnings into the new system and suddenly have tons of people banned becasue of their old warnings.

However, a members total history is alwyas be taken into consideration when making a decision.

Unfortunately, I believe many would use this as a form of elitism, as in infamy.

How do you quantify a ban? To me, it would seem they are (from what I've seen) on a case-to-case basis, so I'm not sure how you can "a warning" is X points, because there are so many different types of warnings. Oh well, not that I care...

Go to your userCP. If you have any current warnings/infractions, they will show up there. They are only visible o you and the mods/admin.

If you don't have any warnings/infractions does it state that you don't? Or does it only state it if you do have warnings/infractions?
