They are, but for some reason the Argonians are in an alliance with the Dunmer which doesn't make any sense at all considering they absolutely hate each other.
Well it's to be based 1000 years before Skyrim, before the slavery I assume.
I'm quite certain that 1000 years before Skyrim slavery was alive and kicking in Morrowind. Vivec was already around by then so I think it's pretty safe to assume that the ancient Dunmer traditions were already well ensconced by this time. They're going to either have to break lore to ally Argonians with Dunmer or pull a cheesy "all Argonian players are actually freed slaves" bit. Either way this is a minor detail, but one that doesn't bode well for those of us who are hoping they will treat the lore seriously.
Perhaps it might actually be good?
Shocking, I know, but what's the harm in wishing?

I'm not cynical. I think there is a good chance the game could be awesome, which is what I don't want. I want the game to fail. I want all MMO's to fail. They are too addicting. And I feel social pressure (like from my brother) to play them. They cause carpal tunnel syndrome in my hands and cause problems with my girlfriend. MMO"s are evil.
I just want a game that I can take my time, level up at my own pace, and a game that finally ends, so I can take a break and rest my hands.
Seriously, what's with all these MMO's? Do they think we are all teenagers with unlimited amount of time to play? Even then, don't teenagers have homework and projects? I know I did. Good thing MMO's weren't around when I was in high school. I wouldn't have got all the A's I did get. I'm tired of them creating games that are just time hogs. I want a long game, yes, but not a game that doesn't end.
