I recognized that we could offer dyes (Färbemittel) to Anarchie, but currently there is no trade route with them. That might be a good argument for exchanging world maps. Maybe they have a harbor somewhere, we can't see:

We can tell them that Kueche is co-operating with The Brotherhood. Which confirms their former suspision. After the map exchange topic is settled, I will draft something regarding our further co-operation plans.

While the game seems to get faster again now, I am disappointed by the silennce from Anarchie.

There are a couple pf open points.

1. What were the 100 gold for? Part of the 250 gold they owed us, or the 100 gold we wanted in addition to Theology for Education?

2. When will we get the remaining 250 gold.

3. Are they interested in trading with us and are they building a harbor somewhere?

Due to this, I want to send them a letter again:

Dear free people,

We are aware that you had hard times playing the turns. But also we did not get much word from you regarding our diplomatic inquiries.

Please let us have some communication to develop our relationship.

It got obvious to us now, what you suspected for quite some time already. Kueche is colaborating with the Brotherhood. We do not know details, but they have some sort of deal, at least including map trades and maybe also some luxury sale.

When we asked for an exchange of world maps, we had in mind to find a possibility to trade goods with you. But it seems, that 1. you do not want to trade maps and 2. you do not yet have a harbor, which would enable us to trade goods. Is there any plan to build a harbor anytime soon?

Maybe you also want to explain, why you do not want to trade maps with us.

You sent us 100 gold on turn 108, which we are grateful for. But we are not sure what you paid with this? Was it a partial payment of the 250 gols you owe us, or the payment for our Theology + 100 gold for Education deal?

Wir haben gerade wirklich viel zu tun. Die Knights haben nun die völlige Seehoheit, sodass wir an 3 Flanken angreifbar sind. Selber können wir nur an zwei kleinen Stellen angreifen, sodass die Knights trotz vergleichbarer Truppenstärke klar im Vorteil sind. Sie sind uns in der Produktion überlegen, sodass sich das auch kaum zu unseren Gunsten ändern wird.

Die Karte handeln wir nicht, da uns unklar ist, was sie uns bringen soll. Luxhandel ist von unserer Seite nicht möglich, da wir Probleme haben unsere Luxies überhaupt zu sichern. Die letzte Lux könnte in den nächsten Runden auch ausfallen. Ein Handel wäre unter bestimmten Bedingungen möglich. Wenn ihr an einer Front die Seewege mit euren Schiffen vollständig blockieren würdet, wäre uns zum Beispiel sehr geholfen. Aktuell können wir die Knights nicht unter Druck setzen, da wir eigentlich an allen Ecken Truppen brauchen.

We really a lot to do right now. The Knights dominate our seas. Thus, we are vulnerable at three sides. We are only able to attack at two small positions. So despite a comparable military force, The Knights have a big advantage. Their shield output is higher than our, so there is no positive change to be expected, too.

We do not trade maps, as we do not see the real advantage for us. luxury trade is not possible from our side, as we are having trouble securing our luxs at all. the last remaing lux also might get lost within the next few tuens. but a trade could be possible under certain circumstances. If you could block the sea ways on one front completely, it would help us significantly. Currently we are unable to put pressure on the knights, as we need troops at all corners.

This could be a chance to help them with our Dromons. This could even be a chance to get our Golden Age without building the wonders.

I'd need a little more convincing that Anarchie needs our help. What are the Knights threatening to do - land a spear/archer pair?

I think we should stick with the original plan for now. It seems the Anarchie bit off more than they can chew. That's not our problem. Let's take over the Kitchen, so we can determine what we eat.
