Emperor Crowded Game

1970
I have no choice but to raze the two conquered cities, Ulundi and Kyoto, and withdraw my troops.

1990: I bring a Galleon near a Mongol city (south on the Zulu island) and declare them war.

1992: Zululand signs a military alliance with France, the last city-state inside my borders, against me of course.

1998: I finally reach the Industrial Age.
The entire world is in war against me.
4 Mongol swordsmen kill my 4 Cavalries near Karakorum. DAMN!
I capture Paris and conquer the entire island.

Map Time!

1369xv.jpg

I have 20 cities (21 counting Pompeii on the 1-square island), while the Zulu have about 11. My industrial-scientific progress should be the double of them...

That is, my plan is to take the 2 Mongol city (and the nice Wine luxury) in order to make a strong drop-off point on the Zulu island. 50 turns to conquer the island. Bets open...

And now a serious decision to take: this is going to be the total war part of this game (it is always been that, but now it will be a slaughterfest without precedents), and I just entered the Industrial Era:
- I may point for Industrialization, complete Universal Suffrage in order to reduce war weariness, then head for Replaceable Parts in order to make Guerillas while trying to mass attack the Zulu Island with Cavalries and cannons.
- I may point for a decision I never made: bring a Communist government. No War Weariness, forced labor, but less commerce and research.

I have to quote part of my first post:

//few and unnoticeable changes

alas, one of these unnoticeable changes is that the game will run to something like 2400 and that every turn makes the game change the date of 2 years instead of 1 - as it should be from 1950 on. So, my 'personal' game end will be 2100 and not 2050 - they are still 50 turns from 2000.

2016: I make a Cavalry Army and start another one. My empire is fully mobilized for the mililtary industry.

2020: I complete Steam Power and start Industrialization - I wanna pump my production to the maximum.

New updates on the upcoming bloodbath with the ZULUS coming tomorrow!
THIS IS GONNA BE BLOODY!

EDIT: Too late Iggy lol I just made my decision: Industrialization and pump out Industries and Cavalries like hell.
EDIT the EDIT: But I may make both Industrialization and Communism... :D no, I want to make Evolution Theory in order to gain two techs

Yeah, TOE is a good wonder. But kinda useless without the FOOT. :D

Sorry, couldn't resist.

the power went down again damn

around 2038 I complete my third army, the second with cavalries. I start building the Pentagon, but it needs 37 turns and from here to 2100 it's 31 turns. I need a leader.

I load both armies on Galleons and start sieging Karakorum. Peace with Shaka, although I'll deal later with him. First the Mongols.

2058: A lone Pikeman redlines my Army. I withdraw my army and send 11 Cavalries that time to siege Karakorum. Let's see how long they can resist!

Oh man I conquer Karakorum with no loss! Finally a lucky strike with the RNG.
It is a match against time. It is hard, but not impossible. And here is my plan I'm going to carry out now.

Ok I suck at image modifying but it's still fun to see :D

Quick and little update... bigger update coming soon

2060: Salamanca is mine and I sign a peace treaty with Ugly Temujin.

so yes, it has been easy to take Salamanca. They had about 3-4 pikemen there.

2064: On 2070 the Zulu plan will start: I will declare war on the Zulus and follow the strategies I described above.

Big update on the plan development comin' soon.

2070: ZULU PLAN started. My troops just landed near York and I declare war when Shaka asks me to withdraw them.

War declared on Shaka.

Karakorum is attacked by a group of Zulu knights. They kill one of my Cavalry. The Knight army approachs near Salamanca and kills one of my Cavalry.

2072

- York, guarded by 2 Musketmen and 1 Longbowman (which inflicted more damage than the 2 muskets) falls with ease. I gain the Spices luxury.

- Salamanca expands his borders and I gain the Ivory luxury. Enough to prevent War Weariness riots!

- I kill the Knight Zulu Army with 2 cavalries!

- Hlobane (the Zulu city found near the Ulundi ruins) falls killing 2 cavalries.

- Killing some troops, fortifying, preparing reinforcements.

ZULU TRIP: END TURN 1

2076

I siege the city of Zimbabwe. They kill one cavalry and redline other two, but I managed to kill 3 musketmen and chop down their defenses to a Medieval Infantry. I also attack the city of London but a single musketman redlined my Army before he got killed.

ZULU TRIP: END TURN 2

Zulu turn: with a LONGBOWMAN they kill my élite cavalry near London. Damn. Plus they pillage Ivory near Salamanca, and it results that half of my empire falls into civil disorder. Great move.

2078

Zimbabwe falls! None of my glorious troops got killed!
London falls! The Zulu empire is crumbling! And I gain Furs.

ZULU TRIP: END TURN 3

Zulu turn: they kill 2 already redlined cavalries near London. Too bad for them, I am already going to replace them with new reinforcements :D

This plan is gonna be a successful one I think.

The Zulu Island looks much more red and much lesser Zulu...

as here

1435rw.jpg

2080

3 cavalries come to reinforce the North-East sector.
I conquer Bapedi and split the Zulu Empire in 2 parts.
Also, on this turn there are more Roman cities than Zulu cities on their own island!

ZULU TRIP: END TURN 4

Zulu turn: a Knight sneaks near Karakorum and kills my full healed élite Cavalry without giving him a scratch!
But on the other side, they dared to attack a vet cavalry on a mountain near York with a longbowman and he got promoted to élite.

2082

I take Persepolis in order to make a unique front. The Invasion Front! mwhAHahahahAhaharhahaaaa.
Zulu troops are squashed, they have nothing to counter-attack my invasion. All their Knights have been killed (I think) and the only thing they have are Musketmen for defense and (!) Longbowmen for attack.

ZULU TRIP: END TURN 5

Zulu turn: No casualties! I just see some Musketmen approaching from north and rejoyce, my good friends, some Impis, coming for a party my Cavalries will enjoy near Hlobane

Map!

Whooo!!!Kill some Zulu @$$. :)

How come you dont want to eliminate the the Mongols, Egyptians,, and Americans?

one at time lol, I'll kill them on the Exile Island when I'm finished with Shaka.

And the game isn't over. I messed up with the settings on the editor  and I erroneously put 2 years per turn even after 1950. So the real end is 2100 instead of 2050.
