1970
I have no choice but to raze the two conquered cities, Ulundi and Kyoto, and withdraw my troops.
1990: I bring a Galleon near a Mongol city (south on the Zulu island) and declare them war.
1992: Zululand signs a military alliance with France, the last city-state inside my borders, against me of course.
1998: I finally reach the Industrial Age.
The entire world is in war against me.
4 Mongol swordsmen kill my 4 Cavalries near Karakorum. DAMN!
I capture Paris and conquer the entire island.
Map Time!
I have 20 cities (21 counting Pompeii on the 1-square island), while the Zulu have about 11. My industrial-scientific progress should be the double of them...
That is, my plan is to take the 2 Mongol city (and the nice Wine luxury) in order to make a strong drop-off point on the Zulu island. 50 turns to conquer the island. Bets open...
And now a serious decision to take: this is going to be the total war part of this game (it is always been that, but now it will be a slaughterfest without precedents), and I just entered the Industrial Era:
- I may point for Industrialization, complete Universal Suffrage in order to reduce war weariness, then head for Replaceable Parts in order to make Guerillas while trying to mass attack the Zulu Island with Cavalries and cannons.
- I may point for a decision I never made: bring a Communist government. No War Weariness, forced labor, but less commerce and research.
