Heres what i did. No pictures yet sorry!!!
I teched AH first settling in place. From huts i popped 2 scouts so had good exploration. Some gold too. 55 i think. I then built two workers and a barracks too.
I was quite slow on my settler which i chopped once Babylon was size 2. I amassed 3 warriors by time yaqob stole my horse plot. I was outraged!!!! So I immediately attacked the lone archer with 3 warriors. My first warrior some how beat the archer. I then upgraded him to woodmen 2 and stole yaqob worker before pillaging his mine and sheep. I offered a ceasefire while he still had 2 archers. He accepted. Taking his city helped here.
Following this I settled my horse city.
I then built 5 chariots with a woodsmen 2 warrior in reserve to nab a worker before my attack. Mainly used chopping for the chariots. I also finished off a partly built settler. I settled the gold city near the food resource west of the capital. My chariot was upgraded by attacking a roaming barb.
Around 1950bc yaqob sends out a settler and archer. I waited for the archer to move away from the city before my next attack. (Didnt want the archer to go back to the city.)
I sent in my 5 chariots and the warrior. I stole a worker on turn 1 of war.
Turn 2 and he has 2 archers. I lose a chariot or so taking the city.
Yaqob is gone. His capital has 2 sea resources and a land food resource. Gold dust on this map.
1900bc 4 cities. 4 workers and a few chariots for defence.
Game on.
